The customer brought the wheels to us and asked if our media would hurt the aluminumI told him it would notWe blast hundreds on Aluminum wheels a year, we have never had an issueHe did not express concern about any areas needing protectionI was not in the office when he picked the wheels up I did receive a phone call from him sometime after thatHe was very upset, demonstrated by his elevated voice and not allowing me to talkI told him to come in and we would discuss it and look at the pictures that we haveWhen he showed up in the office he slammed the wheels down on my secretaries desk, on top of the work that she was doingI looked at the wheel and asked him what he thought was damaged, he indicated the outside diameter of the face, which was about 1/4" ringI asked him why he didn't indicate concern about that area when he dropped them offNeither my sectretary or myself recalled him mentioning anything about that surfaceI asked him what mated up to that he said another piece that he had to use an adhesive and/or sealant, I told him that a porous surface is better for adhesives than a smooth surfaceI asked him what he would like for me to doHe said that he wanted new wheelsI told him he brought us wheels that were in terrible condition, we were not going to buy new onesI instructed Carrie to refund his moneyI had another customer waiting on the phone, he continued to yell and call me names, honking his horn and flipping me off as he left. The wheels were not damaged, and were in much better shape than when we received themWe are not going to buy new wheelsIf I believed that we actually made them unusable, I wouldn't hesitate to replace themWe have an excellent rating for a reason, we have a great clientelle that is 99% repeat customersI believe this guy was looking to scam us into buying him some new rims

The customer brought the wheels to us and asked if our media would hurt the aluminum. I told him it would not. We blast hundreds on Aluminum wheels a year, we have never had an issue. He did not express concern about any areas needing protection. I was not in the office when he picked the wheels up....

I did receive a phone call from him sometime after that. He was very upset, demonstrated by his elevated voice and not allowing me to talk. I told him to come in and we would discuss it and look at the pictures that we have. When he showed up in the office he slammed the wheels down on my secretaries desk, on top of the work that she was doing. I looked at the wheel and asked him what he thought was damaged, he indicated the outside diameter of the face, which was about 1/4" ring. I asked him why he didn't indicate concern about that area when he dropped them off. Neither my sectretary or myself recalled him mentioning anything about that surface. I asked him what mated up to that he said another piece that he had to use an adhesive and/or sealant, I told him that a porous surface is better for adhesives than a smooth surface. I asked him what he would like for me to do. He said that he wanted new wheels. I told him he brought us wheels that were in terrible condition, we were not going to buy new ones. I instructed Carrie to refund his money. I had another customer waiting on the phone, he continued to yell and call me names, honking his horn and flipping me off as he left. The wheels were not damaged, and were in much better shape than when we received them. We are not going to buy new wheels. If I believed that we actually made them unusable, I wouldn't hesitate to replace them. We have an excellent rating for a reason, we have a great clientelle that is 99% repeat customers. I believe this guy was looking to scam us into buying him some new rims.
