I am rejecting this response because:I stated to the business that I would not be able to afford the services unless the quoted amount for services was accurateThe misinformation between the insurance company and the business was explained to me as a system error and I depended on the "good faith" estimate provided to me prior to servicesIn response to the denial that "extra" services were not performed, it seemed to me that use of the TENS machine and other very brief treatments during my visit were part of a sampler of misctreatments outside the pricing of the original estimate of of the cost of services for a basic 1st visitIt would have been nice to have the maximum benefit of said services explained prior to administering them, or at the very least, informing me that these would be an extra costIn addition, the billed amount was literally hundreds of dollars over what was provided to me prior to services renderedI feel that there was no effort whatsoever to empathize with the extreme difference in cost or even work with me on lowering the billed amount due to circumstances out of my control

As a courtesy our staff makes every effort to ensure that patients know their insurance benefits prior to treatment at our clinic In this case the insurance company quoted that the patient's yearly medical deductibles had been met and that benefits would be paying at the co insurance rate
This information was given to the patient during the review of their insurance benefits as well as what services would be covered under their plan Unfortunately when the claims were paid the patient had not yet met their yearly medical deductible and it was applied to the charges that were billed We act in good faith with the information provided to us by insurance companies and inform patients that this is not a guarantee of payment and any unpaid balance is ultimately the patient's responsibility.All services we provide are discussed prior to treatment Our physicians only provide services that are medially necessary to help the patient reach maximum medical improvement We do not perform "extra' services All services provided are those that are necessary and have been discussed
