The worst experience of our life doing business with this company. So many things went wrong with their promises I don't have room enough to list them. Get everything in writing that they promise you or you will be sweet out of luck. Dreadful company We are so angry we paid them for the work they did.

We purchased 13 windows and three french doors from this company. On October 24 and 25th our contractors installed our windows. While they were installing they realized that the windows were manufactured wrong... the inside casings weren't square whatsoever. Also, each of the three doors had problems as well ranging from being out of square to one that didn't close at all. Our contractors immediately called Northwest windows and told them of the issue, they told us that this is the manufactures problem and that they will contact the manufacturer about warranty. It took almost 3 weeks for a tech just to come out to look at the windows. On Nov 8th Jason came to look at the windows to confirm that they weren't square and that indeed we would have to go through warranty. It took two weeks and many phone calls between our contractors and manufacturer and northwest for us to get answer on what they were going to do regarding these windows. Every time they called John was in a "meeting" and had forgotten to call them back. In the meantime it has snowed and the rest of our project must still carry on. We have sided the parts of the house that didn't have window issues and insulated but were stuck at a standstill. We cannot drywall let alone do any further work on our house until this issue is resolved, therefore our project was at a standstill for 5 weeks. I went to northwest to talk to John the man who ordered the windows for us and who knows about the issues we have had. The first time I went in to see him he wasn't there. I told the receptionist my story and that I wanted to talk to john about some kind of compensation or help for our massive holdback. She was very understanding and said they she will get john to call me back that day as soon as he gets back. He never called me... I again went it the next week to talk to John and this time he was there. I introduced myself saying "you have been in contact with my contractors but my name is Ashley I am the home owner and I wanted to talk to you regarding this window issue we have had". Before I could finish John raised his hand up in front of my face and said " you need to talk to the manufacturer". I explained to him that we have and that the windows are getting dealt with but I am looking for some kind of compensation for how long our project has been delayed. I explained to him that this is a home addition and we don't have another home to live in so this window issue is a big deal. Its winter now and my house is freezing, I can't move forward with siding or drywall because of this and normally we would have been done by now and our goal for completion by Christmas may have been possible. He stopped me again and said that this is not his issue and that they did their job and I got the windows. I said "No you didn't do your job because you should of checked these windows after getting them from the manufacturer and they should of never got to my house in that condition. Also why did it take 3 weeks for someone to confirm that they were wrong. Look I understand they you did not manufacture the windows, but they are your supplier, you need to hold some accountability. I bought through you not the manufacturer so that's why I am on your doorstep not their's". He kept repeating himself that no no this isn't their issue and to phone the manufacturer. I left very upset, Once I cooled down I call the manufacturer to tell them my issues and the unfortunate conversation I had with their distributor. She told me when our windows would be fixed but unfortunately they only deal with the warranty but customer service would be Northwest.

On Nov 28th the manufacturer paid for our contractors to take out the windows, their tech fixed them, and our contractors re-installed them. My husband is now doing the siding every night after work to try and get it done before it gets too cold to do siding(which is quickly approaching). We will not have drywall for some time because of this delay and will not be using this space at Christmas time.
