Brian *** failed to inform me as a consumer that the lids do not fit have a snug fitTheir website is deceptive in that they do not describe the loose fitting lids.Brian *** nor Northwood Candles were threatened in any way whatsoever. I contacted Brian *** and told him how I was disappointed in the lidsHe gave me a price for ones that would fit snuggly and I thought that was rather highAs a result, I searched the internet and found the same type lid for a lesser priceI asked him for the measurements so that I could obtain the right lid to fit. He refused because he would not be able to make money off me. We exchanged several emails until he refused to sell me the lids that would go with his product that I boughtI spent over $in ordering candles from this company and I expected the lids would fit. Again, had his site noted that the lids did not properly fit, I would have been able to change my order, but they did notAgain, the pictures on the website do not show that they do not fit properly. His advertising for his product is designed with the intent to deceive the wholesalerAnyone would be upset after spending that much money only to find out they cannot sell the candles. Brian *** raises the issue that he could have sent me a sample, that is not the issueThe candles are okay, they definitely are not the best, but its the loose fitting lids that will prevent a retail saleI have had several customers refuse to buy the candles because of the lids.I have also reported Northwood Candle Company to the Attorney General Consumer Fraud Division of the Attorney General's Office.I request this matter be set for arbitration and I am asking that Northwood Candle Company sell the lids to me or refund my money in its entirety due to their deceptive practicesI request that I be able to attend arbitration by telephone
