Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: We DID NOT CONTACT Northwood Manufacturing company PRIOR to ordering the fifth wheel and NEVER WROTE that we didYou misunderstoodWe went to the webpage and PRINTED the specswhich were feet inches high at that time, prior to beginning the ordering process in October with [redacted] who placed the order We don’t know what day [redacted] * sent the order invoice to Northwood After [redacted] scammed us, we called Northwood personnel several times on Feb9, to confirm the true RV height, feet, inches and have documented dates and times We hope this clears things up

I still even after searching my e-mails could not find the originals but neither here nor there this does sound like a Manufacturing issue and I will send in a check request and get this taken care of,just let him know it will be a couple of weeks out.Thanks Matt

In response to this complaint file by *** ***,Northwod Manufacturing supplies Recreational Vehicals in many different sizes from 17ft to 35ft in Travel Trailers to 5th Wheel Models and we continue to change and improve all of the Models in our line up and we do not have the ability to
change every Brochure in circulation every time there is a running change, so having said that if there was truely a issue with Height on the perticular vehicle the *** were purchasing I would have to assume that prior to the purchase you would physicaly reassure your self that the height and length of the unit was going to meet there needs,also after talking to the Dealership in question the customer *** never mention any issues with having height restriction prior to ordering his coach back in October of last year and if there were a issue he surely could have reached out to the Factory on our toll free line and obtained and other information that he may have needed

We are sorry that you rejected our assement of this situation,but I do reject to the fact that you said you contacted Northwood Manufacturing priore to placing a factory order for this coach back in October of last year ,because if that was the case you would have got the information that you needed and your order would not have been put in our system "Right"

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
In very simple terms, we have been duped by *** ** into purchasing an RV we did not wantIt seems you have been misled by *** *** who kept the facts from us and his lying technician, *** ***. We have documentation to prove ***s lies.
We attempted to check the height, but were assured by *** *** and *** *** it would be done by them as part of the walkthroughEvery customer has an issue with height and length. That is why they select a certain model. The disclaimers says see your dealer for updates and we did thatAt that time we saw no reason to double check the integrity of Northwood and the dealership
In addition, Northwood has perpetrated this particular situation through its lack of accurate communication in brochures, to dealers, on the internet and the phone. (We did call the toll free number, but after the fact and were given the inaccurate rig height initially then through our insistence to double check we received the correct height)
This is our final demand. We reject the Northwood Arctic Fox *** that was purchased through *** ** and we want to be made “whole” again. We want the full purchase price $53,refunded to us because the rig was misrepresented

We went to the webpage and PRINTED the specs. which were 12 feet 6 inches high at that time, prior to beginning the ordering process in October 2015 with [redacted] who placed the order.  We don’t know what day [redacted].  sent the order invoice to Northwood.
2.    After [redacted] scammed us, we called Northwood personnel several times on Feb. 9, 2016 to confirm the true RV height, 13 feet, 3 inches and have documented dates and times. 
3.    We hope this clears things up.
