Norton and Associates

Review: This debt reconsolidation company does not follow through with their guarantee on how long it takes to complete the program nor does it guarantee security with your creditors that you owe money to. When we signed up for this program, Norton & Assoc. told us it would take 3 years to complete this program and have all debts paid off, also that their lawyers would protect us in court. It has been 3 years now since my husband & I signed up for this program and had the creditors come after us on several levels. They have garnished wages, called our family members re: our delinquent accounts, have not paid off our creditors to the best of their ability, very little communication re: our accounts, and have not settled our accounts for the least amount that they told us they could in the beginning of this program. Some accounts we ended up paying more than what we owe! This company took our money for their benefit, was negligent on paying off our creditors and did not help us like we were told they would 3 years ago. We ultimately cancelled our account with Norton & Assoc, and now have rotten credit along with several creditors that still need to be paid off! BEWARE of this and other lawyer offices that say they can help you with debt consolidation.Desired Settlement: I would like at least half of the money that we paid into this company due to their negligence of not paying off our creditors like promised 3 years ago. They have our $1498 payments that we have been making monthly to their office for the past 3 years, with no resolution.
