Norton & Sons Garage
6799 Waverly Road
Waverly, Florida 33877
To whom this may concern:
My complaint is as follows:
On 11-18-19 I entered the State of Florida traveling from Michigan. I reached Lake City, Florida
with two passengers and a full load. The ABS light came on. I drove into Waverly, Fl. in panic
not knowing where else to go and went directly to Norton's.
I was met by Homer that announced needed to remain at his garage for repairs. I explained the
Jeedp has 29,000 miles and is under warranty.
Norton took the Jeep supposingly repaired problem and I picked up following day. *** said,
I was to pay bill. Knowing they knew the Jeep was under warranty I paid the hiil for $247.17
assuming the Jeep dealer was to reimburse me I left.
The Jeep never braked properly. I returned Jeep hack to Norton who took Jeep for drive and
upon retuming said, once The Jeep wanns up it seems to be okay.
On 11-23-20 the Jeep continued to jerk, stalled and became unsafe to drive. Once again I
retumed to Norton's assuming he would stand behind his work and was told to leave Jeep.
Following day I picked up vehicle and was handed another bil lin the amount of $301.65. Once
again I stated the Jeep is under warranty".
Upon leaving Norton's the Jeep still was not running properly. Continuing to jerk, stall on
Highway 27 I returned to Norton's panicking telling them the Jeep is unsafe to drive and luckily I
was not killed on highway 27 as the Jeep was in the midst of traffic.
I was told to take the Jeep to Lake Wales Jeep dealer right up the roadl At the Jeep dealer I was
told the Jeep was not repaired properly and I must leave the Jeep until repairs could be made.
Upon picking up Jeep on December 18, 2019 I found out Norton did not recognize the fact the
Jeep was under warranty. Nor did Norton have the proper software to detect the problem in
My detection of the entire problem is Norton did not have the knowledge nor the proper bldg.
to even begin to make repairs on a newer model vehicle. He never, ever should have touched
Upon 10 days of receipt of this letter I expect a refund from Norton & Son. Norton knew a
reputable Jeep dealer was 4 miles up the road and went ahead to make matters worse knowing
he was unable to make repairs.
I have attached documents from the Jeep dealer showing the repairs that were needed to redo
what Norton did plus other needs.

RE: Case *** Revdex.com
It is with our sincere regret that you were not satised with the service that we provided
for you. You and your family have been customers for many years and the reason why
you came here for repairs on your vehicle in the rst plaoe knowing we were an honest
repair shop. We have been in business since 1965 and this is the rst oomplaint that we
have ever had.
In your complaint you state that you arrived in Florida on 11-18-2019 and that when
you reached Lake City, Fl your ABS light came on. When you an'ived at our shop it was
at the end of the day on Friday the 15'" we scanned your vehicle with our Autel
scanner, attached is a copy of the report. According to the report your right rear abs
wheel speed sensor was not working along with multiple misres. I called you with an
estimate on the repair of the wheel speed sensor and you ok'd the job to be done. We
cleared the codes, replaced wheel speed sensor and told you if the check engine light
came back on to bring it back but widw that low of miles it was not normal.
You brought your vehicle back in we scanned it again, I do not have report on this one,
at which time it had mulple misres again. I called you with an estimate on replacing
the spark plugs, you ok'd work to be done. We replaced the spark plugs erased codes.
Upon your 3"' retum we scanned your vehicle again, attached is a copy of that report.
According to the scanner die next x would be to replace the oxygen sensor. You had
already spent money on two repairs and was needing additional work. We are not in this
business to rip our customers off, so I called we dealership in Lake Wales and gave
them your VIN # and asked if it still under warranty. I called you and told you that the
vehicle was still under warranty and that you needed to take it there so you would not
have to pay for any more work to be done.
As for your complaint we feel as though we are not liable to refund any money that you
have paid us for your repairs. You obviously thought we were a reputable enough repair
shop to drive 175 miles from Lake City, Fl all the way to our shop to have your Jeep
repaired by us if you knew you still had a warranty. We are not a dealership and we do
not do warranty work, which you knew in advance. You passed several dealerships on
your .way'here.and have lived,in_tbis,areaJong enough_to.know_1at there are multiple»
dealerships around. According to the paperwork you provided from Lake Wales Jeep
dealer they also scanned your vehicle and had the same codes that we had at which lime
they replaced your oxygen sensors. There is nothing in your documentation to show that
they had to redo any work that we already performed.
