Bad Bad Bad No Customer Service
Yep as many more have posted on here or Yelp or How many other reviews , I called Norwall Power Systems back in March 2021 to order a Kohler Auto Transfer Switch as was not sure what to order so I talked with one of there EXPERTS as it say's on there web site , yep that EXPERT told me the one to order as I did, After waiting from End of March to End of May 2021 I finally got my ATS. My Electriction comes to install it gee guess what it's the wrong one not compatiable with my 2012 Kohler 20 res w/rdc controller. So now the fun starts NOT yep NO CUSTOMER but there isn't any The Manager told me pretty much to bad you ordered it , I said yes I did with your EXPRETS help, her responce he no longer works here , I said so ! It's the wrong one and needs to go back so PLEASE send me return Label and Send me a refund, Norwall NO can't as you installed it on your house well DUH he was going to hook it up WTF ! So there has no answered Phone messages or emials that I have sent over the last 2 weeks, So yep out $784.00 dollars plus Time for my Electriction . So BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.

Unpleasant and unprofessional
Unpleasant and unprofessional staff. Extremely bad attitudes and zero customer service skills. I'd rather wait a year for a generator to be in stock and delivered than deal with this company that has many other bad reviews.

BEWARE!! WARNING!!
WARNING! BEWARE if you're thinking about purchasing a generator from Norwall. I ordered a whole house generator, but there was hidden damage on the back portion of the lid. I was told by Norwall staff that the box covering could be removed by sliding if off from the top to fully inspect. That was not the case. Instead,a thick wooden crate was attached to the box using industrial staples and nails. If you want to find any concealed damage, Norwall expects you to PRY away the wooden crate using a hammer, heavy screw driver, crow bar, and utility knife, while the delivery carrier waits (about 20 minutes are so). Doesn't matter if the box is ripped up and the wood frame is destroyed. Norwall considers this a reasonable expectation for the customer to inspect the unit. The sales manager was rude and unprofessional. Replacing the lid (around $300) for a $3,800 generator for other companies would be good business practices, not Norwall. So BEWARE! Rip that crate open and inspect! You've been WARNED!

Our Kohler generator was delivered without notice, we were fortunate to be here especially after the weeks of delay. It came without a battery, needed a heating kit, and had incorrect software. Even after downloading the updated firmware it would not start. automatically. We had to hire a local company to get it working. Norwall is a terrible company.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.1. [redacted] refused and asked us to bring to METRO in [redacted] for 2nd opinion.4.We set appointment for a date when we were to return from our RUINED vacation .Thank you NORWALL.We had to rent a home $2700.00 instead of using our Motor Home because the Generator was broken.Campsite $ 586.00 house over $ 3000.00 total.5.Sharon from Norwall Refused us the repair and sent a Return [redacted] slip while she knew we were on Vacation.Malicious.6.We sent them an e mail after we could not make any possible agreement. The BOTTOM LINE IS THIS .PLEASE READ .Since NORWALL POWER SYSTEMS did not follow proper protocol .[redacted] was making Norwall pay for the repair 100% of the replacement of generator. Why else would Norwall want the generator back. Now that they are Paid they want to stick us with it.I have the E Mails between EBBIE at [redacted] and [redacted] at NORWALL stating, just as aforementioned.7.On October 29, 2013 I contacted [redacted] at NORWALL POWER SYSTEMS and Asked her if the old [redacted] BOL was still good .She answered by e mail yes and to let her know when the Generator was being removed at OUR COST AGAIN from Motor Home and being shipped back so she can track. This was on OCTOBER 29 , 2013.On October 30, 2013 [redacted] CANCELLED THE PICK UP WITHOUT CONTACTING US .So she made us remove the unit have it put on a pallet and stay home from work for three days.NEVER TELLING US SHE CANCELLED NOVEMBER 13, 2013 PICK UP.Ask her for the E mail to Us canceling pick up.We do not know why they are talking about dates pre October 29,2013.This was the date she confirmed the Pick up for November 13, 2013.after we could not resolve a fair settlement.I want a new unit. They refused.Take yours back.IT WAS SET ON OCTOBER 29 , 2013.She cancelled. Not Us.Thy did.I have all the E Mails and I have a Certified Letter that was sent to them Stating that they needed to remove by December 14, 2103 or we would no longer be responsible. This was because they never contacted us on Cancellation of Pick Up.What kind of People are these.8.We have the unit on a pallet and Norwall did this maliciously and waited for such dates and time tables so we would get stuck with unit.Read their Response. We went beyond our return date.Of Course you did.You did not call us back ever.I have 70 pages of unanswered e mails and I have the E mail from October 29, 2013 when [redacted] confirmed the old [redacted] pick up Label was still good.THEY ARE LIARS.9. Ask them for the E Mails .Ask Norwall power Systems for all the E Mails they sent us about picking up the Generator .There are NONE. 0. Only on July 25, 2013 . When I told Sharon we would be away and we have an appointment on August 03 at Metro to repair. What we did not know then was [redacted] was making Norwall pay the Repair.Ask them for all the emails .I have mine and I will send them to you.Give me a Fax Number.THEY ARE LIARS.Chris the OWNER used profanity at my wife.Words as a Christian we do not use. That was the Owner of Norwall.10. We have out over $ 5000.00 in damages. This company is BAD Business. They have complaints all over the Internet. They also operate under three ( 3 ) different names…Ask them for the Emails or Certified mail they sent us pertaining to these dates.Make sure they are e mailed .They sent false papers to us already. We have the Receipt from [redacted] that the Generator was installed properly , and it was bad.We also had a Cylinder Leakage Test done. The cylinders are both shot. They hold 0 pounds of pressure.I have video and pictures of this test also. Or Cetified Mail. They never contacted us.This proves on October 29, 2013 Norwall was willing to pick Generator up on November 13, 2013 after no resolution could be found. They waited. They waited for dates to pass. They were playing The Date game.It seems they must do this often. They have it down to a Science,They even admit it.It is a Shame .A big business.Or supposably a big business ripping off Poor People.Especiallly They ruined my only vacation I have been able to take.I have been bed ridden for two years. We had a 3 wee k Motor Home vacation planned over the Summer.Norwall Ruined it.I can Never get that back.Never.

We had been communicating with customer since 7/19/2013 about this unit. Warranty states it needs to be taken to an authorized Service Center for evaluation. Many times issues involve the unit being installed incorrectly and that would be the responsibility of the customer. The...

customer refused to take this step therefore Norwall chose to bypass that, have the unit picked up and refund the customer when it was received at our facility. On 7/25 the customer was sent a BOL (Bill of Lading) and scheduled a pick up for 7/26/13, 8/15/13, 8/26/13, 8/28/13, 9/25/13 & 10/1/13. Each time either the customer cancelled the pick up or kept requesting that we reimburse him in the area of over $3000.00 plus the original cost of the unit. The customer has done a chargeback with [redacted] 3 times and they have ruled in Norwalls favor each time.  On 11/1 our Vendor received a very disturbing email from the customer. After receiving that email (I have attached) we chose to no longer communicate with this customer.  We made several attempts to pick up the generator well beyond our Return policy that allows 30 days to return an item.
