My wife and I are both NCL cruise membersWe recently sailed on the Pride (SHAME) of America out of Honolulu,HI and were very disappointed with the quality of food there were exceptions with two of your restaurants Cagney's Steak House and the Skyline dining also the service at the bars was appalling we would sit down after dinner for a drink and sometimes waited up to ten minutes before being served on top of this there was a service charge for the drinks and on top of this a line for an additional gratuity .I think it's attributed to a mostly American staff it hurts me to say this but it's trueI have no complaints about my cabin service the gentleman we had was courteous and could not do enough to make our cruise pleasant We also had booked another cruise on Norwegian for September before we left and quickly cancelled our trip as soon as we arrived home very disappointed with NorwegianThink it's time to start looking at other cruise lines hoping for a better experience

day cruise to key west then to CozumelThey said we could leave to port because of fogWe waited for hours the we're allowed to leaveProblem with that was there was no fog and we could see the lighthouse clearlyThere was however a boat next to the Jade that had scuba divers doing some repairedAfter they completed there job we left portNow at this point it was so foggy we could see the lighthouse because the fog then has thickenediOS think a little more honesty would have worked better Then we at informed the next morning that since we left so later we wouldn't be able to stop in Key WestBut things get worse, we now are going to spend days in Cozumel, not bad, but not what we sighed up forThen we hen we get to sunny Cozumel construction workings started what I thought would be a small problem but as it turned out they were removing the slide to the pool and had to shut down the main pool! What kind of service is that? What kind of company would schedule a job that big it would take whatOut people consider the main attraction out of the cruiseBesides all this the weather was crappy but knowOft can control that and we made the best out of the bad weather with our family and friendsI loved the cruise and being the first one I plan to take at least one a year, but it definitely will not be with NCL I plan to post this on my Facebook page and other cruise reviews to give people a warning of the avoidable problems that happened to usI have read other reviews we're or misfortunate things happen but they get corrected by the cruise lines for the problems that had accruedNCL did not admit to the fog fraud or apologize for have construction being done on the main pool deck for of the days of the cruiseI look forward to reading reviews about othe cruise lines to make sure I don't make this mistake of cruise lines again!

DON'T CRUISE WITH NORWEGIAN!
Here's a list why:
1) their cruise consultants will charge you for things you just ask about
2) the cruise consultants will lie to you about things to get you to book
3) the cruise staff will let someone on the ship without scanning their key card, then punish you for it
4) the cruise staff will keep you clueless and kept prisoner for hours in a cold, no windowed room with one bathroom stall (and people to share it), only giving you water, egg sandwiches, cookies and pound cake
5) the cruise will cancel a day of your cruise due to winds
6) you will get no compensation for those mistakes
7) you will never hear from your cruise consultant again
8) when you call after the cruise to talk about it, you will be hung up on
9) when you call back after being hung up on, you'll be kept on hold for over an hour!
I took a cruise in Sept to Bermuda and had the best experience ever, thus I spoke very highly of Norwegian.......but how I have been treated recently is unacceptableI am a latitudes member who cruises 2-3+ times a year
So yah, spreading the word...they'll mess up and won't do anything to help make you feel better...if anything, they'll make you more angry

Don't have your diamond ring cleaned on ncl. I did at a kiosk on ship and was told my diamond was very nice . After cleaning I was told my diamond was loose and that I should bring it to a specific person off ship to have it fixed. Instead I brought it to my own jeweler where I was told that the stone was not a diamond any longer it was a CZ. BEWARE ladies don't take your ring off . Bad NCL

I have sailed once with Norwegian and based on the treatment I have most recently received I cannot say I will do so again. Whilst attempting to resolve an error where Norwegian disbanded my group then distributed private information for those I am sailing with I was loudly provoked then rudely hung up on. When I attempted to complain about said issue I was told there was not a complaints department then basically called a liar several times. If you like abuse and the chance that your private information will be given to stagers without your consent and supposed customers service representitives will talk down to you then definetly book. As for me, well after being told by someone who'd worked for the company for a whopping three years that they owned it, I'm thinking it's best my time and money are take elsewhere.

My wife and I embarked on a cruise on the Norwegian Breakaway a few weeks ago to celebrate an anniversary. During this cruise we were severely disappointed by the customer service as most workers that we dealt with seemed to have no knowledge of their position and generally no desire to be working at the cruise. We were often met with attitude and eye-rolling when approaching/dealing with workers in various roles across the entire ship. Later in the cruise we found out that there was a "service charge" being applied to our bill which was meant to represent tips to crew for their service. My wife and I noticed this charge a couple days into the cruise and inquired to the front-desk. At that point we decided that we would adjust the amount post-cruise based on the service that was provided (as the service before that point was extremely disappointing). We decided to tip the crew members individually based on merit and request a full refund of the service charge once we arrived home.

After arriving home we contacted Norwegian regarding a refund of these service charges and were told that since we didn't request a refund while on the boat, we were not able to get one. We wound up tipping a significant amount for some of the better service we received (ie. housekeeping was exceptional). To date the company refuses to refund the "service charge" we paid and we have wasted hours of time between talking with them and the Revdex.com.

Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the cruise and unfortunately feel that we wasted one of our rare vacations primarily due to the customer service on the boat and the headache that we were forced to deal with after. There were many other "cons" during our vacation (mediocre food, general lack of organization during the trip, a policy of "nickel and diming" customers, etc.) with Norwegian but based solely on the service received, I would highly recommend avoiding Norwegian.

People take the time to put negative experiences on social media, but whwn they have a great one, they easily foget about it. My family and I cruise twice per year and this September was the first time we got to sail on The Norwegian Breakaway to Bermuda (numerous friends recommendations), which was by far THE BEST CRUISING EXPERIENCE WE HAD. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire crew and the captain, as we left during a storm out of NYC and yet didn't really know how severe the conditions were until watching videos of other cruise lines from their passengers who were completely terified. Our captain and the crew kept us informed with weather conditions and changes in course throughout our trip because our safety was most important to them and it was cleadly evident. The staff was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond every single day to make sure we had the best time of our lives, and we did. We did stay at The Haven, but the family atmosphere and friendliness was throughout the ship, regardless =) Even my toddler had everyone accomodating her in every way. We are already planning our next trip with Norwegian. Our friends were kind enough to recommend this cruise line to us, we want to make sure we do our part in making sure evryone knows how memorable and amazing vacation you can have if you book through Norwegian. In addition, they havevthe best beverage and food packages you can think of.... the food on the ship is delishious!!! Again, thank you Norwegian Cruise Lines for making our vacation an absolutely perfect, stress free time!!!

5 day cruise to key west then to Cozumel. They said we could leave to port because of fog. We waited for 6 hours the we're allowed to leave.
