Review: Purchased 2003 Chevy Venture with 93,199 miles on it from Norwin Motors on 9-22-15. The vehicle inspection was/is dated 6/16. I was told by my mechanic on 04-04-16 that the frame on the van is rotted/rusted out and could not pass inspection because of it. When I brought my vehicle to Norwin Motors (04-04-16) to question them on this matter, I was told by their mechanic Howard, that - it's a matter of opinion of whether the van could be inspected in its current condition. I then asked them to do the state inspection & was denied-1st being told that it wasn't due yet , then given the excuse that they didn't have time to do it - I was then denied yet again when I asked to schedule an appointment for the inspection. I then had my brother-in-law call 2 days later & make an appointment for an inspection (they were unaware of the vehicle to be inspected). On 04-11-16 my brother-in-law & I went to Norwin Motors for the scheduled inspection just to be told 1st that there was no mechanic there to do the inspection even though it was scheduled &no one from Norwin Motors had called to cancel the appointment.Then we were told that they refuse to do business with us. When I purchased this vehicle, free lifetime inspections were included!! Less than 7 months I've owned this van & have put LESS THAN 5,000 miles on it!Desired Settlement: Repair, Refund or Replace

Review: Entered business to rent a truck. Already have full business insurance. Was told once they received copy of required insurance, fee for their insurance would be refunded. My insurance agent, [redacted] of [redacted] Insurance, contacted [redacted] at [redacted] rental and provided correct coverage of insurance. Upon receiving my bill, I was charged for insurance through [redacted], but was told by [redacted] to call customer service to have refunded. I was under the impression that the insurance was already taken off my bill once my insurance agent provided the necessary coverage. I was never contacted since the day I rented the truck. I called customer service like I was told to do and [redacted] said it was policy for them to charge me for insurance and it could not be refunded. I asked to speak with a supervisor ( [redacted]). She also said it was policy and could not refund the insurance. After speaking with her further, she said that Norwin motors needed to contact them to state that I was told the insurance would be refunded. [redacted] from Norwin Motors tried to contact customer service, but they were closed. The total I was charged is $586.95. In addition, my insurance company also added special coverage to comply with [redacted]'s policy.Desired Settlement: Notify me by phone or email when my account will be credited the refund.
