Norwood Animal Clinic

I recently visited Norwood Animal Clinic on May 1, 2014. Never in my life have I've been so disrespected in my life. One receptionist, with the short black hair, was rude, obnoxious, and very provoking (to say the least). She would not lower the tone of her voice when I asked her to (nicely), then she tried to insult my intelligence with her abusive behavior. She spoke to me as if I was a child.
Due to her tone and demeanor, I could not accept the abuse (verbal) any longer. I left in disbelief.
My son (cat) had been receiving care since he was 6 weeks old now 4 1/2; I will not be returning to this clinic 'ever' again.

[redacted] and the staff at this clinic was very rude and not welcoming at all. During the exam [redacted], referred to my 1 year old male cat as a "little jerk" as he handled him very rough from the start. in reaction my cat bit the dr and was uncomfortable from there. They rudely dismissed us and did not communicate at all as to why this happened.He told us he will not be able to perform this exam. A technician gave him the FVRCP. I had explained I just got the cat 3 days ago from a known private owner and wanted to make sure he was ok. I apologized to the dr for my cat biting him but that doesn't justify how we were treated and how the cat was roughly handled.They did not charge us for the service, however my cat is traumatized and I will never take him back there never again. Im sure there are other ways to handle animals that get upset when you grab them in a threatening way. I explained to the Dr how this made my son and I feel. IT was very unpleasant and uncomfortable visit.
