To Whom it May Concern:Please find below our response to the above referenced complaint.We were requested by the tenant to replace the thermostat in his unit. Our technician had to contact the Manufacturer to determine why the new thermostat was not functioning, While in contact with the...

Manufacturer's representative there was troubleshooting that had to be performed in order to determine that the issue was the thermostat itself and with the direction of the Manufacturer, that did take some time.The replacement thermostat was mistakenly billed and was removed from the bill as soon as the tenant notified us of this. As a courtesy we also lowered our hourly rate and the time it took to complete the job when the tenant originallycalledtocomplain.The time taken to figure out the issue with the thermostat and to return to instal the replacement, in our opinion, is not excessive, it's very easy for someone at customer support to give an estimate of how long it would take to install their product, but there are many things that can come up during actual installation that would extend the time required. This happened to be one of those cases.After the first revision of our time and hourly rate and in an effort to get paid for the requested work, we have submitted an invoice to the tenant for the $150.00 he says he is willing to pay.If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call the office.Thank you,Norwood Environmental Systems, Inc.
