Notary Consulting Services

On May 20, 2014, I was referred to [redacted], the owner of Notary Consulting Services for help with 2 mortgage modifications. The company is located at [redacted] Memphis TN XXXXX and using P O Box XXXXXX Memphis TN XXXXX. This company has NO regards for the law and is preying on Homeowners who desperately needs help retaining their homes. [redacted] and Notary Consulting Services has acted with gross misrepresentation, bullying tactics, has urged me to blatantly lie and when I refused she became aggressive and told me to stop being PARANOID. Despite sending a demand letter from an attorney, this company has not refunded my money. Below is a time line of this unscrupulous owner [redacted]: May 20, 2014, my first conversation with [redacted] ended with her advising me that she would have to check both Banks/Mortgage Servicers to see if she had contacts there and then she would call me back within 24 hours. I confirmed that I am only willing to do them with her if her contacts were able to help me due to my unemployment status. Wednesday, May 21, 2014[redacted] called and confirmed that she had contacts in the respective banks and that they were able to help expedite the process of each. As a result, I agreed and deposited the funds, in the amount of $3,338.00 ($1,500.00 for one home $1,538.00 for another and $300.00 for administration fee) into her Bank account under the name of Notary and Consultant Services. Upon receipt of the deposit and signed contracts she would begin the process immediately.Thursday May 22, 2014I followed up to confirm receipt of funds and she confirmed.Friday May 23, 2014I followed up to confirm the receipt of additional documents that I sent and then the tone changed. She told me that she will not be in office that day and will be out until the following Tuesday. This was not mentioned before.Tuesday May 27, 2014I followed up with a phone call and then got a text Not in office today because my daughter is having a baby andDesired SettlementFull deposited funds, in the amount of $3,338.00 ($1,500.00 for one home $1,538.00 for another and $300.00 for administration fee due to misrepresentation and unethical behavior when she urged me to lie.
