I purchased another Timex watch on June 16, 2016 and AGAIN, the Indiglo light stopped working. This was my 2nd watch in 18 months. The first watch, I had for 15 months when the Indiglo light also stopped working but it was out of warranty so I knew Timex would not help me. I called Timex when my new (second) watch had the same issue after 3 months and was told that the new watch was under warranty and to mail my purchase receipt, and the watch back to Timex so it could be fixed. 3 weeks later, I received the watch that was 100% under warranty with and $8.00 bill that I needed to pay for shipping. I called Timex and said I don't understand why I need to pay for shipping when I was the one who was inconvenienced without a watch for work for 3 weeks, it was THEIR product that was defective, AND it cost me only $3.95 to mail it back to Timex.. You either stand behind your warranty (including shipping) or you don't. I would like the $8.00 charge reimbursed.

I bought a watch from Timex and returned it on January 5th because it was a gift and the recipient decided that he wouldn't wear it much. Three weeks after returning the watch I still had not heard anything from the company and there was no refund credited to my account. I called customer service and there was no apology for the issues that came with this order, the representative was extremely rude and didn't seem to care at all. I called a second time after a refund still hadn't been credited and this representative was also extremely rude. Again, no apology, horrible attitude and didn't even end the phone call with the proper closing. She just hung up the phone. I was absolutely shocked and couldn't believe I had just been treated like that. I also ordered another watch in the middle of December and a couple days later the watch still hadn't shipped and then I just got a random email saying that the order had been cancelled because they didn't have it in stock. That's a horrible way to keep and treat customers. Not even a phone call to apologize for the fact that their inventory count was wrong and wondering if there was another style that I would like to purchase instead, which I would have! Needless to say, I will never be doing business with Timex again. This was the worst experience I have ever had with customer service from any company.
