Shortly after buying the Santa Fe the radio began to short out on usWhenever it felt like it, it would turn on or off or adjust the volume all on its ownThank god we brought the extended warrenty! NOTT! We took it to Jordan the service manager at the time to get it repairedNo calls a week later about when it would be doneGo back to pick up my vehicle to find out he ordered the wrong part and we will have to bring it back again in a couple days to complete the repairHead back a couple days and leave the vehicle with him for the repair saying ill be back in a couple weeks to pick it up as I work out of townOnly to return to find the vehicle not finishedgoing to have to wait an hour before it will be ready
If only that was the end of itThe service team scratched my console to *** around where the radio was to get it outWhich did end up getting fixed at the cost of another day without the vehicle a couple weeks later
How could it get better then this? My Gmc starts having an error popping up every couple of minutes for the built in trailer brakeNot uncommon for this type of vehicle apparently but what the *** lets give NOTT one more chance I brought the "bumper to bumper" warrenty for $Only to find out not only does the warrenty not cover the trailer brake there going to give me a bill for an hour of there time for plugging there computer into my truck and finding nothingThere suggestion was "Just disconnect it you wont use it anyways" and if theres any further problems take it to a gm dealership
After everything is said and done the GMC cost me an additional $For work that was not covered under there "Bumper to Bumper" warrentyWhen bringing the bill into the new service manager was kindly told theres no such thing as a bumper to bumper warrenty and to always make sure to read something before you sign it
