Dear [redacted] at Revdex.com, We at Nova Cycles Supply have a history of fair and honest dealing with bicycle enthusiasts for more than 30 years. We try to go the extra mile to accommodate customer requests but are not able to accommodate all requests.
In point of fact, this is our...

first complaint in 30 years of business. Fundamentally, what this complaint is about is our policy of not accepting [redacted] for domestic orders. As a policy, we do not accept [redacted] for domestic orders.  In general, most customers would have read on the website in the shipping and payment checkout area where it stated [redacted] INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ONLY and comprehended the meaning. With a normal customer transaction, we would have communicated what was already clear from the web store ([redacted] domestically not accepted), and asked for credit card as an alternate payment and the transaction would have been finished in less than 2 minutes. The customer [redacted] placed a very small order for 3 parts of a single line item, part number [redacted]. This is a part to build a bicycle fork. When the order was received, Amber wrote a clear, respectful email to the customer, stating and reinforcing that we do not offer [redacted] to domestic customers and attempting to correct the payment error of the customer. Please see her email amber_email.pdf attached
Please see the email copy of his proforma invoice attached Revdex.com_1. Please be aware that there has been no transaction- only communications between Mr. [redacted] and Nova. Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] did not like that answer or was unable to read, and instead called to argue about policy.
Mr. [redacted] has also been deceitful and intellectually dishonest in his facts “about [redacted] being an actual choice given”. Please see the actual website where it is clear that [redacted] is an actual choice given for INTERNATIONAL ORDER ONLY. Please see the screen shot of payment and shipping attached Revdex.com_2 and Revdex.com_3. Mr. [redacted] was rude, demanding, threatening, and tried to bully Amber (who is a new and uninformed staff member) into submission by breaking policy- something that she does not have authority to do. He upset her to the point of tears with his aggressive style of communications. To the issue of a fee with [redacted]:  To be clear, we do not charge a fee for [redacted] use, and her communication about this was simply in error.
At this point, no transaction has taken place- only an order submitted that does not meet the payment conditions.
If Mr. [redacted] truly wants to conduct business with us and not quibble, he has several options for payment:
Credit card, [redacted], Wire Transfer, or a Money Order.  We can still process his order, under the stated conditions here and on the website. In the near term, we will continue to not accept [redacted] for domestic orders.
As to Mr. [redacted]’s desired settlement, we do not accept and up to this time have never accepted [redacted] for domestic orders.
If Mr. [redacted] can accept those terms of payment we can do business. If not,  Mr. [redacted] is free to use one of the other suppliers in the industry.

Review: I ordered several products off their website. I selected [redacted] as my payment method which was an actual choice given. I was told an invoice would be sent to my email. Instead I was emailed by someone named Amber who said domestic consumers were not allowed to use [redacted] unless they want to pay a 5%fee for the priveledge. [redacted] only charges them 3% for using their service and I believe it's illegal to make customers pay the fees anyway. They stated international consumers are charged this fee on every sale. Note there is no 5% fee on credit cards or debit cards and when I stated I didn't have one that's when they said they would allow me to use [redacted] but would be adding 5% to the bill for the priveledge. I then simply stated that I know credit cards charge a simular 3% for using their service and asked why I wouldn't have to pay a fee with them but do with [redacted]. I was then told they were not going to argue with me and hung up.Desired Settlement: I ask that they don't charge consumers the fees that they are charged for [redacted] or anything else. And to notify me I can order without being price gouged so I can place my order. Thanks
