[redacted] contacted Revdex.com to respond to this complaint. He stated that the customer purchased the vehicle “as-is” but when the heat stopped working after the purchase the business as a good faith effort fixed the issue at a cost of $500....

After that the customer contacted the dealer again and said that it was still not working but did not want them to fix the issues and wanted to take it to a specific dealer. The business said that if they let them know what the dealer stated the problem was they would be able to fix it with their mechanics but that it would not be covered if the dealer did the work. The customer approved the work scope wit the dealer and they had completed the work. The shop is not able to cover this cost for the customer. The customer has been provided her title. In the time between the purchase and when it was mailed out the customer changed her addressed and did not inform the shop of this and they mailed it to the only address in their file. The [redacted] contacted them about the title but they were able to show proof of the mailed receipt for the title and provide a copy. The title has since been sent to the customer now that she has updated her mailing address. The customer did not over pay a processing fee. The shop does charge one but that is disclosed on their shop and the [redacted] charges taxes to the state but those are different things.

Revdex.com spoke with the business. The customer purchased the car and a month later came back to the business and said that the [redacted] shows some rear damage. The customer did not request a [redacted] and the business is not responsible for finding that and sometime that takes a few months to...

update. If it is a salvaged title the tile will be branded with that. The vehicle was sold “as is” but the business will take it back if the title is branded savaged as he does not have a salvaged title license to buy salvaged titles.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The company is straight out lying about everything ....I have every text, every email and every phone call phone I have made to these people. I also had the vehicle inspected AND THEY LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING WITH THE VEHICLE.....I GUESS THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DEAL WITH A COMPANY THAT HAS ONLY BEEN IN BUSINESS A MONTH. Also they are selling vehicles without even getting them inspected 1st...AGAINST THE LAW IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA. It's okay further legal action has been taken against them and they will learn that soon....I contacted them and got every story there was from a family emergency, out of state, they were coming to pick up the car even down to his girlfriend was dying in a car accindent. This is why you don't let illegal immigrants run a business.

I vetted several dealerships and chose this one because I really liked the connection with the seller and the car was exactly what I was looking for. I told him that I'd waited 20 years to buy a [redacted] after putting my daughter through private school and college. It's been a joy having something you've wanted for a long time. But, [redacted] took my kindness and stepped on it. He is heartless and bi-polar. One minutes he's nice the next he's giving you the middle finger. The point is, my 30 temp tags expired Aug. 2, 2015. They are no where to be found; have been out of the office for over two weeks, the telephones are disconnected and I can't drive the car because the tags are expired. The [redacted] is helping, I've filed a court action. BUYER BEWARE! These folks have serious very concerning issues and dishonorable business practices.

Trying to buy a car at NOVA Motorcars proved to be a very shady experience. The ad for the car I was interested in - along with several other ads by the self proclaimed "manager" of this dealership, "[redacted], were listed as for sale "By Owner", not a dealership on [redacted]. This [redacted] is also not listed as a sales person on their posted list of sales people.
Was told in writing by [redacted] - "It runs really well once the small repair is done it's going to last a while". [redacted] posted in his ad that the car needed a belt pulley and quoted the cost of the part in the ad. That is NOT what is wrong with the car.
Well upon inspection the engine is making a noise that can be heard 500 feet away - most likely a water pump failure, the muffler was leaking and was being held up by some sort of wire, the rear tires are at the wear bars, the right fog light is not attached, all 4 of the the brake rotors were horribly rusted and way to thin to have passed any recent inspection (which there was an approval sticker from January on the car), the engine was leaking oil while running - it would leave a 3" round puddle of engine oil on the ground after 5 minutes of running and the transmission fluid didn't even register on the dip stick. FYI, I am a VA State Safety Inspector.
My wife and I were told that this would be a private sale, which we questioned and then [redacted] said, No, title would be reassigned by the dealership - another untruth or misdirection by [redacted].
After all this [redacted] and I finally agreed on a price and invited us in to do the paperwork. We sat and waited until he want back outside to get the vin number - which seemed odd as the title was there. He came back and reneged on his oral contract and said he couldn't sell the car for the agreed upon price. My wife and I got up and left while [redacted] attempted to justify his lack of ethics. This [redacted] fellow went so far as to send me three inappropriate text messages after we left his business - two of them after I politely replied to him asking to be left alone.
NOVA Motorcars, in my opinion, is unethical in several ways, flat out lies and is dishonorable. I do not recommend that anyone do business here.

Review: I haven't received my tags and my credit union hasn't received the title. It has been more than 30 days so I am able to get out the deal according to the VA law that I was informed by the DMV.Desired Settlement: I have tried to contact NOVA MOTORS for a few weeks now. I have the DMVV law enforcement involved with this situation and I was told as part of their process I need to file a complaint with Revdex.com and the state commissioner.

The issue is that I purchased a 2007 Lexus is 350 from them on July 1st and I haven't received my tags yet. I have driven by the dealership and the property is locked and a fence and no one is there nor is answering the phone. The DMV has also sent law enforcement to the location and they have the same outcome. Additionally, my credit union hasn't received the title yet and according to Virginia Law I am able to back out of the deal if no title has been send within 30 days. The problem with this though is I cant get ahold of anyone to turn the car back in.

Review: Purchase a used a [redacted] and had several issues, and had to take the car back to dealership four times to fix . They couldn't figure out what is the problem with the car. I took car to a mechanics and they couldn't figure out what the problem said could be head jasket and I brought a lemon. My husband had already told the dearlership that I will take it to dealership to have it look at they agreed. the [redacted] dearlership fix the repairs sent the invoice over to the dearlership and they refuse to pay for the damages. I never recieved the Title of the car was getting the runaround told it was on it's way, never got the Title, refuse to take callsDesired Settlement: To have my Title of the car and pay the invoice of $388.

Review: First off hello and thank you for taking the time out to find out whats going on.

I purchsed a car from this dealership and paid $2,500 in fees to cover taxes, plates/registration. I paid for everything I needed to. I drove the car home and two and a half months later I received a letter from the DMV stating that they received a check in my name to cover the above fees and said check bounced. The letter further went on to state that my license had been suspended as a direct result of the above delinquent fees.

I immediately contacted Nova and spoke with both the sales rep [redacted] and owner [redacted] on numerous occasions. I was assured by both parties that this was an error and that it would be rectified by the earliest business date. the owner apologized profusely and said he would submit the payment electronically to NY MVA.

IT HAS BEEN 21 WEEKS AND NOVA HAS MADE NO EFFORT TO MAKE THE NECESSARY PAYMENTS TO NY DMV EVEN THOUGH I PAID NOVA MOTORS $2,500.

I have a recording from them stating they will pay it. It has been weeks they have ignored my phone calls, texts and emails. My license has been suspended. They have stolen my money used its for something else and has left me in a situation where I can not drive and I drive for a living. This is extremely unacceptable and I need it to get resolved the best way it can. Help is greatly appreciated

My research has shown this is not their first time doing this scam and they are currently under police investigation. They need to be shut down and made accountable.Desired Settlement: The dealership needs to contact the DMV and pay the balance for the bounced check they sent to the DMV on my behalf.

Review: I purchased this vehicle under the impression that it had a clean [redacted] report as I was told. When asked to see the [redacted] report the subject got changed real quick so their was always a excuse. also the vehicle should have been inspected by the dealership as the Virginia state law requires every dealership to have any vehicle on their lot inspected and there again it was not done. Anyways I paid $40.00 to run a [redacted] myself to find out that this vehicle was in a accident in 2007 and was disclosed that it had frame/ structural/ uni body damage in 2009 and then again disclosed that the dealership was disclosed of this when they purchased it at a auction on 1/23/2015 but never told us anything. Which therefore again is AGAINST THE LAW. When contacting the dealership the y refuse to abide by the law and refund my money or replace the vehicle. I have not changed the title over nor do I plan to....I refuse to ride my family around in a vehicle that is not safe. A refund or a law suit is in process this problem needs to be fixed.Desired Settlement: refund
