Nova Pest services & owner Ron McKee appear to be incapable of completing the work for which he was paid in full. My lady friend had rodents in her attic. We went through Home Advisor to find a pest control company to solve the problem. Unfortunately as Ron McKee uses his truck as his office he responded immediately. He came by later that day. That was only one of three times he moved at more than a snail's pace. He initially showed up on 2/20/15 when he was paid 1/2 of the total charge. He stated, "I need the money to purchase the insulation." He gave me a price for removing all the old insulation in the attic and then using enzymes that remove the rodent scent. Then he was going to blow in fresh insulation, and set up traps and bait stations in strategic locations on my property. The final part of the job was to go into crawl spaces and ensure all "access points" for the rodents got sealed. So in total he should have been done with the job in total within 3 days. The contract states "2 workers for 2-3 days". He scheduled the job for 2/26 but I believe that is when he broke out "Ron Excuse #72- Got a late start, caught in traffic on the 170. There's an accident I think we better reschedule." He returned with a worker on 3/4 and the worker cleared out the attic. Obviously, as the job is still unfinished, Mr. McKee has breached the contract as it is over 4+ months since he was supposed to start the 2-3 day job. As of today 6/29/15 the job is still incomplete and he hasn't bothered to contact me at minimum in the past 5-6 weeks. Guess Mr. McKee uses a different calendar than the rest of the world. He did return on one more occasion in May to set up traps and bait stations. Must be that new math as that isn't 2-3 days in my world. When leaving instead of acting like a businessman he acted like a teenage girl (or a THIEF in the NIGHT) texting my lady friend he was gone. Real professional. In my opinion he should look into finishing his education at Clown College. Job is still unfinished and by now the blown in insulation is probably compromised. The rodents are probably quite comfortable snuggled down into fresh insulation because an alleged Pest Control specialist failed to complete a job for which he was paid. DO NOT HIRE. If you don't believe me make sure you withhold at minimum 40% of the price until the job is finished and you have inspected it. Don't take Ron McKee's word for anything.... I believe he has a truth allergy.

Review: I signed a contract to spray 4 units for roaches. The contract guaranteed service for 6 months and charged me $660. The tenants in these units had to be notified in advance by me to allow entry and to remove all items in kitchen and bathroom cabinets and remain away for at least two hours. The apartments were sprayed two times in two week intervals. The bugs remained so I arranged another spraying three weeks later. For four days I had to call, text and use their web site email to get a response. I was given a date to spray last week between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. All tenants had been notified and had prepared their apartments for spraying. I drove 35 minutes to meet the sprayer. I waited an hour and no one showed. So I texted and called. After 15 minutes I received a text that he was trying to get another product to spray. Later he said he wasn't coming. His actions were irresponsible and had inconvenienced 4 families. He had no excuse for not calling. I told him I would not deal with him again. He charged $660. I want my money back, as he did not cure the problem and the public should know that he is unreliable.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund. His company should be put on notice for not fulfilling their contract, so the public would know.

Review: Hired for gopher control 6-2015 on a 3 mnth svc contract with option to continue at $25 per mnth. Nova treated yard 6-19-15. 2nd time he said he came but I was home & I never saw him. Asked for him to come to my door future visits. He never came again(I stayed home every scheduled day even though he wouldn't commit to a specific day, would tell me either this day or that) I told him that since he appeared to be too busy for me to just wait until he wasn't so busy, OK he said. Then in end of Oct or early Nov he said he'd start again and he scheduled a day. Didn't show or call. I texted him, he re-scheduled. Again, he never showed or contacted me. So, I requested, via text, a refund. That was over 2mnths ago & I have not heard anything from him.Desired Settlement: Full refund. Even though he did treat the mobile home space once it did not help at all. As he explained to me, it takes several treatments to get gophers under control. That's why I paid $395 for 3 months service.
