Mr [redacted] came to me on August 15th with a truck that he tore apart and couldnt get back together He brought me all the wrong parts. What was wrong Carburetor Starter Flywheel Distributor Water pump Motor mounts Exhaust Intake manifold Oil pump drive On august 27th he Finally brought by a deposit... of $500 and work commenced. and an additional $700 on 9-3, we bought Exhaust headers $177 Spark plugs $26 Intake manifold $235 Head gaskets $88 Oil pan gasket $15 U Joint straps $30 Lower Hose $32 Steam cleaned the under carriage $50 Timing cover set (He supplied the wrong one) $23 We assembled his engine, installed the heads, timing chain,oil pump,lifters,push rods,rocker arms,oil pan ,flywheel , starter, custom made motor mounts because the engine he brought was never made for the year truck he had, We installed his drive shaft, radiator, transmission mount,Engine & Headers we spent over 12 hours at $85 per hour = $1020 Parts $676 I have never had contact with him after Wednesday sept 30th when he towed his truck out of our shop and said we accomplished enough and he would finish it from there was what he told both my mechanics. It wasnt until he posted fraudulent reviews on my website on October 4th Under the name Jonathan [redacted] and [redacted] ***, I have access to the reviews and they both came through at 7:24 and 7:29 pm From the same IP address, Then he wasnt satisfied with that, he went to fairfaxunderground and posted under the name J Collier 77 and gave my address and personal cell number,I had no idea this happened untill I was contacted by a nieghbor of his that is a customer of mine and she posted information about him, I contacted Fairfax underground and verified that j Collier 77 and jonathan [redacted] are the same person, Fairfaxunderground confirmed the IP address I have is the same as J collier 77, even though he told you in his complaint he was in contact with us on 10-7 and 10 16 Both outright lies! At this point I have ciontacted both law enforcement and Civil lawyer and will be filing suit against mr [redacted] for defamation and slander. I had to contact the police to get my car backI received the car with the dash ripped out, water damage to inside, dent on passenger side with scratch down to metal, damage of paint all along the front bumper, no front seats, console removed, door panel missing and door panel damaged, rear seats removedCar is not drivableI drove this car in, when I contracted him to redo interiorHe did not need any parts other than fabric for seats, door panels and headliner, carpet for floorHe told me he had all this back in Oct and that work would be completed in about three weeksI have no way of checking any other repairs as car is a total mess and I am missing a lot of interior partsEven if other parts are returned, I won't know if all there until car is put back togetherI looked at valve cover to see if head was removed as I was told, but valve cover has not been removed, so this work was not doneI paid $3,up front for work, but I can't tell if any work was done, other than tearing my car upCar may be a total loss due to this companyI had over $17,invested and another $for this messI am now waiting for estimate of damage, and I will more than likely sue for damages, depending on what insurance wants to doI have tried to get parts on three different occasions, and another Sonny said he was going to deliver last Friday morning, I waited around until with no parts.Also Sonny called one morning stating that he was someone from the Revdex.com and that he wanted to know what was needed on my partWhen I realized that call was not from Revdex.com, but from Sonny, I hung upThis was fraud, just like he has frauded me

Review: I[redacted] contacted Nova Restorations back in December 2015 to have my [redacted] restored. They had a mechanic come and inspect the truck so that they could give me a quote and estimated time on how long the project would take. I needed vacuum hoses, fuel hoses and fuel system inspection, exhaust, A/C compressor as well as the wiring harness. I also asked them if they could put in a floor shifter as the trucks transmission was replaced from a manual to an automatic and that the steering column was set for a "3 on the tree" manual. They told me that replacing the steering column would be easier. I was quoted roughly $800 for everything minus the wiring harness as they needed to inspect it first but would let me know later. The next day they sent a tow truck to pick up my truck, contacted me to confirm the quote and said the repairs would take 2-3 weeks. They requested $500 in advance for parts which I paid over the phone.

Since then I have contacted them constantly to ask about the status and completion of my truck. They keep telling me that parts are coming in and that they are working on it or that there was an injury at the shop. Every time a new deadline comes up they say that they need more time. In the 6 months they have had my vehicle I have left Active Duty service to start work at the DoD. I was able to see my vehicle twice since I had them pick it up. Once was to pick up my tool box from the trunk back in January/February 2016 at the Doswell, VA shop. The second time was in May 2016 when I drove to the shop after not hearing from them for several weeks or not getting a call back. They informed me at the end of May 2016 over the phone that they were moving the shop back to Fredericksburg, VA and would finish the repairs on the truck in 3 weeks (end of June). It is now 2 weeks into July 2016 and I have yet to hear from them. I have called several times and left several messages with no response and no information on where the new shop isDesired Settlement: The only thing that I am requesting is that my truck be delivered back to me, in one piece, job completed or not. I am not asking for money back or the job to be finished if not already complete. I only want my truck back in my possession.

Review: I left my [redacted] with NOVA Restorations back in June of 2015 for a complete interior restoration. I also requested some electrical repairs, up to $1,200. Sonny stated that this work was done and said he could fix the clock for and additional $80.00, and I said ok. On 7/21/15 I paid Sonny $3,000. up front to do the repairs and to order fabric, carpet, head liner and Dyno-mat. We also talked about a repair to the cylinder head which you said was the cause of my acceleration miss. He said it would be $468.00 to remove and replace the head. He also asked me if I wanted him to do this work and if I wanted that work and the interior done at the same time. I said go for it as I wanted to get the car done. Time after time Sonny told me fabric was coming in.

Oct was the last time I saw my car and no work had been done since July 2015. I went up NOVA in early Nov and shop was closed with no forwarding address. His shop neighbor told me he was down towards Richmond. I tracked him down and have not been able to see my car. I keep getting run around on the progress. He had all the interior parts; just needed upholster work, seats, door panels carpet and headliner. Should not take more than two weeks to do and maybe a week to get fabric. I was told my car was being returned yesterday and I still have not seen it. My insurance is canceling as I cannot get info on progress of restoration and pictures of car. I keep getting run around on where my car is, as it was not in his shop down by Richmond or person he said had my car for upholstery work of which Sonny would not give me address so I could get pictures, nor would he give me phone number of person. After three days he did give me number. When called, no one would answer or return calls. Now no one at Sonny's number will even answer my calls. I have been extremely patient. I don't know if he is in bankruptcy and my car is impounded or what. It has been over nine months.Desired Settlement: Would like great job finished in a timely manor and returned to my home or my down payment and car and all interior parts returned to my home so that I may get work done elsewhere. I have no insurance on this car now and I don't know how or who to get insurance to value on this car now that my policy for antique car has been canceled by my current carrier due to the fact that I have been unable to get the appraiser the info the carrier requested. If any parts that I supplied are missing car would likely be a total loss, as parts are more than likely unavailable.
