Review: I published a book ( as 1st author of one chapter) from the Nova Science Publishers INC. and I receved the e-book from the company. However, since I wanted to have a paper copy of the book I wrote, I ordered a book (through email) in early Sept, 2013 and they said that they shipped the book on Sept **, 2013 (via USPS Priority Mail (tracking number [redacted] US). However, they book has not arrived yet. I've complained about the non-delivered book (which is $305.95 !, not a small money!) and the only things they've told me is that they are responsible for this event.

They said that if the book returns to them then, they'd send it back to me, but if not, then there is no way that I can get any kind of compensation; neither to have a new book nor to get a refund. It has already been 4 to 5 months and, they are not even replying to my email now.

The thing is they did not inform me the fact that I wouldnt' get any compensation if the non-delivery happens. The receipt does not have any kind of comments and the online site about the "shipping and returns" is blank (actually, "COMING SOON" is wrtten).

In summary, I was never informed about the shipment and returns when the book is NOT delivered.

However, the company insists on saying that they are NOT responsible and I can not get any kind of compensation.

If they informed me about the facts above, I would not have ordered the book for sure (since I already have the e-book!).Desired Settlement: Now, I am sick and tired of writing them to send me a descent copy of the book I wrote,

I just want to get a refund ($ 305.95)

This book was shipped to the author on September [redacted] 2013. It was returned to us in December with address "unknown." We sent a reply to [redacted] stating this and offering to resend the book with shipping charges applied. We never received a response.

We regret that this customer had an unpleasant experience. We will attempt to send the book again to a different address at no additional cost.

When made the complaint to Revdex.com, I'd made up my mind that only "REFUND" would compensate the unpleasant experience.

However, since the company replied that they would send me WITHOUT additional cost,

I'd consider receiving their offer.

BUT the company has lost my trust forthe two reasons below;

1. I received all the emails from the company saying that they are NOT responsible for the shipping problem,

but I never received the email saying that the book had returned to them.

2. The address I gave them is the one that I always use to receive shipping things from abroad, so it doesn't make any sense that the book returned to them due to "unknown" address.

Therefore, I suggest the company

either

to send the book carefully this time to the new address (as they suggested) without additional cost;

BUT I want to have their promise that they wound refund if I don't receive the book again.

or,

to refund now.

I want the company and the bureau know that my first book publishment became an unpleasant experience,

waiting the book SEVERAL months, but not receiving it or any reply from the company.

If the company chooses to send me the book without additional cost with the promise I wrote above,

then please let me know where to send them the new address that they wanted.
