Nova TV

Product was purchased 9/7/19 at an expo. Merchant told Purchaser (me) that product would : work in any home; would not have any buffering issues for live tv; streaming tv might have minimal buffering issues only at beginning and end of movies/shows. We installed the device the next weekend and went through all the set-up according to instructions. We experienced buffering immediately and continued to have the issue with all movies/shows/channels. In fact, we were not able to completely watch any streamed show because it would buffer every 5-7 minutes for long periods of up to 25 minutes. We reached out for tech help within 24 hours of experiencing the first issue. The responses provided did not solve our problem. We did everything the Merchant requested of us but nothing worked (we have text conversations printed out and available for review if needed). At one point the log in credentials that were provided to us were made inactive and we were no longer able to communicate with tech support. We asked customer service about it but were never granted access again and no answer helped us fix the tech issues we were experiencing. At one point Merchant even suggested that we subscribe to a 3rd party provider to get what THEY promised us from the start. This was an unacceptable response to our issue. We have since sent the equipment back but Merchant refuses to provide us with a refund. We are not interested in dealing with a company that has zero tech support that doesn't actually provide solutions. We are not saying the product doesn't work for SOME homes, but we can say for sure that the product doesn't work in OUR home.
