Review: My husband and I hired this company on 05/06/2013 because we had a raccoon in our attic. We called, they came, we have statement with three options. We took the 3 option that included some home improvement items. They set the trap and told us we had to wait a few days. They came back to check but no raccoon. We had to call them each time to get them to finish job. We waited like they asked us to still nothing happened. We bought vents to cover opening on outside of house. They put them up but left hole that raccoon entered through. Hole is still there. they came after being called again to blow some insulation in attic then nailed it shut. After that they would not answer anymore calls from our home number. I was able to call from my cell phone on 06/27/2013, service man answered and advised he will try to get someone to call me from home improvement section [redacted], I left message but no call back. They cashed our check for $600.00. I mailed certified letter to them on 07/31/2013, delivery notice from post office on 08/02/2013. They have not picked up letter. Want money back. They never caught raccoon.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for work not done. It can not cost $600.00 to do what was done at our home.

Dear Revdex.com,

Re: [redacted] entered into this contract on May 6th, 2013. The contract states the scope of work as; Remove animal, Repair attic stairs, Blow cellulose insulation to an R49, Repair soffit. Disinfect attic, and Repair siding.

In May a trap was placed for 6 days. After that we placed a marker in the hole to see if the raccoon was still living there. After three days of checking, the marker had not moved and the animal was deemed removed as stated in the contract. Many customers get upset that we do not always catch an animal in a trap. We use many methods to remove animals as quickly as possible, many of those methods do not include traps of any kind.

As [redacted] agrees we came to her home and did the insulation, disinfected, repaired the stairs, and the hole she referred to was in the soffit. Four items on the contract were completed in two weeks time.

The siding was ordered in June. When we picked the siding up it was wrong and a new order was paced. This put us back two weeks. At the end of June we get a call from the supplier that they can no longer get this particular siding that matches the house, it is no longer made.

We placed many calls to [redacted] to find out what he wanted to do. We never heard back. Business cards were left at his address in July and August. [redacted] found our company on [redacted] and I made attempts to contact her there but they also went unanswered

At this point we would like to get paid for work competed and they can find another company to assist them with their siding issue. If you look at the contract the siding repair was added at signing (different hand writing) and that increased the amount from $1,250 to $1,350. As [redacted] stated they have paid $600, so $650 would be due now.

I'm a little confused about this email I have gotten 09/26/2013, I spoke to Revdex.com rep and was told that case is closed due to no response from company. The Revdex.com had tried to contact them also.

The new response from them dated 09/26/2013, is the same as they sent before. They have no intention of settling anything. The remarks in their statements are lies. I'm with Revdex.com, consider case

closed.

Review: I hired them in May of 2013 to remove squirrels from my attic and repair the areas where the squirrels entered the attic. They failed to repair all of the access points and did not immediately respond to my calls and demands that they come back and finish the job. They finally came back out in November of 2013 after several misrepresentations about coming out and set one trap that sat on the lower part of my roof for 3 days before it fell onto the patio. They have refused to return calls or emails. They have even refused service of certified mail. They claim to have a 5 year warranty, but, they have refused to honor it. I have now incurred significant damage to my attic and soffit areas as well as completely contaminated insulation.Desired Settlement: I want my money back or they need to come out and finish the job and repair all of the damage that I have incurred as a result of their poor service.
