On 8/30/I told *** *** verbally she needed to bring a
fair amount of money "Down" if she was definitely interested in purchasing the truck (I asked her this question twice) due to other potential buyers and that "we would then 'take the *** off the market, let no one drive it nor even open the doors.' In order to hold it for her"She was then given a bill of sale with the down payment depicted to present to lending institutionsShe was given until the end of 09/09/to consummate a loan for purchase minus the down payment of $Upon contacting her that date she indicated she, didn't have time to get to her bank because it was "too late" 3:00pm but she would "go first thing in the morning"I told her "OK" but "don't forget I had her money." On the second day she would not return my voice mailsOn the third day she was contacted to ascertain statuswe were told she had found another vehicle she was interested in and would "send someone for her money"This action constitutes an infraction causing the owner monetary damages as a direct result of taking this vehicle off the market
I *** ***, was offended to hear such remarks about how we handled the situation, I told *** that the deposits are non refundableHer mother cursed at us over the phone and threatned us, as to which was witnessed and I said we would not tollerate such threatsShe also did not have trouble getting financed, she told me that she found another truck to buy insteadWe lost several interested parties during this time of holding the vechile for herOur deposits are non refundable, Why would we take a deposit to hold a vechile off the market if we were to give deposits back after loosing other potential buyersPlease see attached definition of deposit
