Review: My son was diagnosed with Autism Spectra Disorder in October, 2014. We found Dr. [redacted] practice that services children with Autism in November. They were not taking any new patients until January 2015 and we agreed to wait. After a couple of phone calls, we were able to have our first appt. in January, then our 2nd appt. on Feb. 24th. At that appt. Dr. [redacted] said that he would have a behavioral therapist call me to schedule an appt. to visit with me and my son in our home as well as in his school to determine what kind of behavior therapy to initiate. He said turn around time would be about 1 week. 1 week and it is now April 24the - 2 months later!!! I had left a couple of message and then finally e-mailed his coordinator on March 18th and was told that "Dr. [redacted] needs to assign this case to a supervisor". 1 month later and he has not even assigned this to a supervisor?? I heard nothing and then e-mailed on March 26th and was told "I am currently waiting for direction". I then spoke with [redacted] Llamas and she put me on hold, spoke with a supervisor, and then told me that they would call me back that day. They did not!!! I spoke with [redacted] a couple of more times and she said "I am so sorry - I am working on it". THEN, they just stopped calling me back. This is a family in crisis. My son needs help and my family needs help and it amazes me that that someone in the medical field can be so nonchalant about the care they provide to their patients by not getting back to them and providing the care that is necessary for their patients to function.Desired Settlement: I would like this center to do what they said they would do and help my family and my son! All they have to do is pick up the phone, call me and tell me what day and time, they will proceed with services and then do it. The not calling and me having to initiate all the calls and still have them not call back is getting ridiculous!!!
