My experience with this company started out great. There was a problem during the return of the items we rented. We were given 4 tablecloths without opening and inspecting them, we assumed that everything was ok. When we wanted to return the tablecloths, the mean nasty lady behind the counter told us that one of the table cloths did not belong to them and that we need to pay her $30 for the lost of the tablecloth. When we questioned her, she started screaming and yelling that the tablecloth did not belong to them and that she was not going to take it back. My sister and I left and went home to get all of the tablecloths we used that night thinking that maybe their tablecloth was mixed up with the round tablecloths we had purchased online. When we returned, there was a manager at the counter. We explained the entire incident to him, he took one look at the label in the tablecloth and said ok, everything was fine. My sister asked for proof of retrun and he printed a return confirmation and handed it to my sister. As we were leaving, my sister noticed that on the receipt, there is an incidental charge of $13 to cover lost or damages to items rented. If that's the case, why did the nasty lady try to charge us $30.
Please be careful when renting items from this business.
Because of my husbands health issues I contacted Fairway this year to treat our lawn and our scrubs. Several times over the summer we had issues with brown spots in our yard which we brought to Fairways attention. We treated in pass years as fungus, yet Fairway insisted the issue was Army worms. We were not shown any worms nor did we ever see worms yet Fairway continued to say it would take awhile to get rid of the worms. We still have spots and have yet to see worms. A manager did come out once and agreed with the tech that we had army worms. We insisted that army worms were not the issue. We had one scrub that had insect damage when Fairway service was started which never did get better and has almost now completely died. Another scrub inside our back gate is now dying and several others show insect damage which we have concerns that they may die also. We canceled the service and would not recommend Fairway to anyone. We have pictures of the damage that we have shared with Fairway. As seniors we paid a lot of money with and end result of damage to our lawn and scrubs.
