Review: I had dental work performed that needed prior approval by the insurance company. I also have a maximum limit on how much it will cost. I had been going to this dentist for about 2 years, and never did they say that I was over the maximum or the work that I was having done was not covered.I always asked to make sure that everything was covered by insurance. I received a bill for 1100 dollars by the dental office telling me that I was over my limit.They called me on 6/*/13 looking for payment which I told them that I was not paying. They then informed me that they were putting it through collection. Also my Daughter was going to this Dentist. At the time she first was going she had our insurance and never had any cavities. She then was ineligible for insurance because of age. She went to this dentist with no insurance coverage and was told she had 10 cavities. She did not have the work done at that time because she could not afford it.She later obtained a job with her own insurance went to another dentist and was informed she had no cavities and also called the first dentist a crook. I have no intentions of paying the 1100 dollars.Desired Settlement: Billing Adjustment

[redacted] had extensive work done with our office, unfortunately, the patient did exceed his annual maximum. regarding this patients complaint however, he was informed that he would be going over that maximum. Due to HIPPA restrictions, I cannot go into any details regarding his adult daughter, I can however say that it is not uncommon for dentists to have different levels of conservativism. Thank you
