Now Who's the Boss Reviews (4)

I board my dogs at Now Who's the Boss and have had very positive experiences. I would not board my dogs anywhere else. It is a home environment and I am amazed at the facility. There are multiple areas for different sized dogs, a pool for swimming, attention to the dogs and it is clean and well kept. I have boarded at the large kennels and it is not uncommon for my dogs to come home sick from the stress.

When I adopted my dog she was 5 months old and afraid of almost EVERYTHING. I searched several places and took classes with several trainers including obedience and agility and I did see a very small amount of increase in my dog's confidence, but when I was lucky enough to find [redacted]'s Nosework class, my dog really grew in so many ways. [redacted] was so patient and kind with "Gurdy's" shyness and each week I saw my dog grow and start to love the Nosework classes so much. She did great and I finally saw a truly happy dog doing something she was becoming so comfortable with. Fast forward a couple of years and to this day it is by far her favorite thing to do and we've met such great people associated with the fun sport. Thank you "NOW WHO'S THE BOSS" [redacted] is fantastic, kind and VERY good at what she does!

[redacted] at Now Who’s the Boss is first-rate at modifying aggression problems, teaching impulse control, and obedience. Even greater than having dogs who listen, she is a master at teaching you to have fun and bond with your dog through sports, like agility and K9 nose works.

When I first went to [redacted] about my dogs, it was because one of my dogs nearly killed the other. [redacted]’s response was, “soon enough they’ll be happy together.” I didn’t believe her. I thought I was going to end up the victim of a dog mauling. I didn’t have much hope. She taught me how to gain control through absolute follow through and correction timing. Today, their struggles are a distant memory. They get along great!

Since training together with my dogs in the sport of K9 nose works, we’ve gained a connection I didn’t think was possible. I now feel like my dogs speak English because I can read their body language. I worship my dogs and they worship me, and it’s due to having fun with them.
