Review: [redacted] has been my CPA for a few years. Last year, he lost most of his clients because he 'disappeared' for personal reasons. I gave him a second chance because most people deserve them. It is April 15th, tax day and [redacted] has not done my taxes. I supplied him with all my books at the end of February. He's missed two appointments with me to go over thing but assured me my taxes would get done. I've left him dozens of messages, emails, texts, and he's not only not done my taxes but he's completely ignoring me. He's left me in a real bind and he of all people knows the consequences of not doing your taxes.[redacted] lacks professionalism and integrity. I would not put your trust or finances in his hands.[redacted]Desired Settlement: If there were a way to get him to have to pay for the services I will incur today as result of a rush tax job with another CPA on April 15th, that would be great. I don't expect anything but I really don't want others to experience what I have with Nowack CPA services. He's a scam.

Review: [redacted] was recommended to me by a friend and he and I had a very good conversation when we first connected. Unfortunately that’s where the “good” part of his services ended. I paid him $1000 to incorporate me and guide me through the process of what I needed to do once the corporation was up and running. After he received my money on August 14, 2015 (the invoice for which he sent 5 minutes after speaking to me) I never heard from him again. On our phone conversation on Thursday 8/13 he said he would be filing on Monday and my corp would be live on Tuesday 8/18.

Six weeks went by and I heard nothing and was not given my Articles of Inc from [redacted]. So I began emailing him with some tax questions and requesting proof of my incorporation. I got no reply to my first email so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and resent it a few days later. No reply. I emailed him again asking if he received the first two emails and his response was, “They must have gone to spam, I will check.” After a week I heard nothing so I called him, it went to voicemail, I left a message and got no call back from [redacted]. I called again a few days later, same thing -- voicemail and no call back but this time I got an email from him telling me he was busy with a deadline and would provide answers to my tax questions and proof of my incorporation that same day. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing. I emailed him several more times and got no response.

In the midst of all this I found out that I could look up my corporation on the Secretary of State website which is what I did after the first couple times I tried to contact [redacted]. My corporation was not there, [redacted] had not filed it. Then a couple weeks later I checked again and there it was…filed on 10/14, TWO MONTHS after I paid him to file it, now making it clear as to why he had been dodging my calls and emails…because he hadn’t filed my corporation and he was lying about it. To this day I have not heard from him or received my Articles of Inc.Desired Settlement: Refund my $1000 plus the $275 I had to pay another CPA to clean up [redacted] mess.
