Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
The above-referenced complaint represents a dispute with NRG. NRG breached its contract. Via settlement negotiations, NRG agreed to refund the $deposit and remove its solar equipment from my property (at no-cost)On July 7, 2015. the equipment was removed and my home was damage. Per NRG’s lease Para5DLimited Warranty on Damage to Property and Belongings We warrant the Solar System and installation and repair work by us and our designated contractors against damage to your Property and belongingsIf we breach this warranty, we will repair the damage covered by this warranty or pay you the replacement value for such damageFor the entire Term, starting on the day we begin to install the Solar System. The deposit refund is demanded and monetary relief to correct the property damage

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because (re the repair of the roof penetrations):
The roof is one of the most important parts of a home, and keeping it in good shape is vital The penetrations of the solar panels breached the integrity of a roof that had a life expectancy of 10-years Therefore, the patch work offered along with the one (1) warranty is unacceptable After the expiration of the warranty, the damage caused by NRG will become a major expense to the homeowner to rectify A warranty of at least five (5) years of the patch job is requested.

Ms***,
Upon reviewing your case # ***, it has been determined that NRG Home Solar is operating in accordance with the Solar Power System Contract that you have signed and was subsequently installed at your residence.
It is outlined within section (D.) "By initialing here Buyer acknowledges and agrees that Contractor has made no representation or warranty with respect to the availability, scope or amount(s) of any incentives, credits, rebates or tax benefits, and that Buyer must evaluate for itself its ability to acquire and/or utilize any such incentives."
Based on your initialing this portion of the executed contract, NRG Home Solar maintains it is in good standing when it comes to the sales consultation and do not accept responsibility for any confusion about the tax incentives based on the section aforementioned.
On multiple occasions our company representatives explained that the customer would seek the professional advise of a tax professional prior to the system being installedDue to the current circumstances, we at NRG Home Solar are willing to offer to send you a check for your next monthly payments as a sign of good faith, but in no way is an admission of any wrong doing by our company representatives.
Thank You,
Natalie K

Good Afternoon,   NRG Home Solar is seeking resolution to this case outside of an arbitration hearing.   NRG Home Solar is prepared to take the steps necessary to repair the stucco on the exterior of the home where our equipment was installed.  To our knowledge this is the only outstanding issue as it pertains to the system removal and repair of the home.   -- Thank you,

NRG has given me written notice of termination of the contract.

Not sure if it was bc of this or timing, however they still have no working phone number.
