At this time, I have been contacted directly by NRG Solar regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved
because:
they said they would install the safety guards but are having scheduling issuesThey said it would be done by end of January, as of today 2/* the installation is not scheduled

Review: The solar panels create a safety hazard in snow/ice conditions. The first time we had bad weather big huge heavy pieces of ice slide off the panels and hit the ground. These pieces of ice were over an inch thick and some 6 inches or longer. This could severely hurt or kill a person or animal. This was not disclosed at any time during the process to have the panels installed. When NRG was contacted, they not only were aware of the safety hazard, they had a product available for $600 to fix the potential safety issue they created.Desired Settlement: Install item to fix known safety hazard at no cost to me.

Note: This should be standard practice where this is a known safety issue.
