Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/07/14) */
All of our bedroom condos were booked, and Mr*** choose to take the bedroom option we had available for himNote: He also had a 50lbs dog with himWe confirmed his reservation, and turned down others to accommodate his reservationHe
knowingly signed an agreement stating he was reserving a bedroom, and there are no refunds after you have checked into the condo, unless "uninhabitable" The air mattress that was promised was delivered the following day, along with additional beddingHe checked into a bedroom condo, that was equiped for people, and additional essentials were brought to the unit to accommodate his larger family
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2015/07/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It is unfortunate that it has taken months and a formal complaint with the Revdex.com to get a response of any kind from NTS
Our inquiries thus far have been completely ignored
(Numerous unreturned phone messages and emails over several months has been quite frustrating.)
We were given confirmation (in writing via email) that an air mattress and appropriate bedding would be onsite the day we arrivedThis was critical for us to agree to rent the property at all as we have three young childrenIn fact, we originally elected to postpone checking in on Monday 9/as we were told the additional bedding might not be available until 9/
The air mattress and additional bedding was not delivered
The contract language states refunds will be granted if the property is "unfit"We feel that not receiving appropriate sleeping arrangements that were promised (ultimately resulting in bed for people) rendered the property 'unfit'
We're asking NTS to simply honor its word
Final Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2015/07/23) */
The mattress was delivered when promisedOur agreement states if the unit is "uninhabitable" refunds are issuedThe unit he sated in is a very nice upgraded, new appliance buildingThe fact of the matter is, the client had four people and a 50lb dog in the one bedroom unitHe was very aware he was booking a one bedroom, and when he arrived decided it was to smallHe bought time with our company to find a place that would rent to him and a lb dog
We have a company to run, and reserved a week for a client who knew he was reserving a one bedroom, that was pet friendly
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2015/07/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Unfortunately you are mistaken againWe actually had people and a lb dog in the bedroom...which makes no sense unless we were actually promised additional sleeping accommodations (i.ean air mattress and extra bedding)
If we had received the air mattress and extra bedding as you state, why do we have receipts for purchasing extra bedding that night?
We also can produce emails that clearly indicate the air mattress was never delivered
We'd be interested to see what proof you have to the contrary?
We do not disagree with you that the apartment had been upgraded in some waysThis is irrelevant as we needed bedding and a place for our three small children to sleep more than anything else and these necessities were left unmet
Additionally, you have not answered why we did not receive a response of any kind from your company for months in spite of repeated efforts at contacting you
We paid your company $1,for renting a bedroom for less than hours
We elected to leave not because we 'bought time' to find another place, but rather, we never received what your company promised to provide

In April we reserved an apartment at ESouth Water Stthrough NTS Corporate Housing for the period September 13- We signed a contract and gave them a credit card number, and they told us "Because the reservation is still far out your card will not be run till about the end of June." After June passed and my card was not run I inquired by email as to when they would run my card The agent replied that she would talk to accounting When I did not hear back I asked the agent to confirm that I still had a reservationShe replied on August that "You are confirmed!!! You are in the calendar as confirmed," and she again told me she would talk to accounting Then on August 24, barely weeks before the reservation, I received an email telling me that they were overbooked and would not honor my reservation I was unable to find comparable housing, and I finally had to book less suitable accommodations at a higher price

It is unfortunate that it has taken 10 months and a formal complaint with the Revdex.com to get a response of any kind from NTS.
Our inquiries thus far have been completely ignored.

We were given confirmation (in writing via email) that an air mattress and appropriate bedding would be onsite the day we arrived. This was critical for us to agree to rent the property at all as we have three young children. The air mattress and additional bedding was not delivered.
The contract language states refunds will be granted if the property is "unfit". We feel that not receiving appropriate sleeping arrangements that were promised (ultimately resulting in 1 bed for 5 people) rendered the property 'unfit'.
We're asking NTS to simply honor its word.

Unfortunately you are mistaken again. We actually had 5 people and a 108 lb dog in the 1 bedroom...which makes no sense unless we were actually promised additional sleeping accommodations (i.e. an air mattress and extra bedding).
If we had received the air mattress and extra bedding as you state, why do we have receipts for purchasing extra bedding that night?
We also can produce emails that clearly indicate the air mattress was never delivered.

Additionally, you have not answered why we did not receive a response of any kind from your company for 10 months in spite of repeated efforts at contacting you.
We paid your company $1,500 for renting a 1 bedroom for less than 24 hours.
We elected to leave not because we 'bought time' to find another place, but rather, we never received what your company promised to provide.
