Review: A sewer pipe reline product and installation was purchased September 24, 2013. It completed in November 2013. The product installation failed (the pipe collapsed causing a sewer backup on one side of an 8-unit building, and the drain from the other side of the same building was partially blocked by the epoxy causing a backup on that side of the building. In the last year, there have been four (4) sewer backups in the same building from this one sewer pipe reline. Nu Flow has been contacted with each report of the backup and did not send an emergency response team, such that another plumbing company had to come in and clean out the backup. The collapsed portion of the pipe has been partially replaced by Nu Flow but not re-lined. The blocked portion of the drain pipe on the other end has had a hole cut in it with the fragments left in the pipe and causing another blockage. Nu-Flow has promised rescheduling of repairs since last November, 2014. A third party said that their "warranty" work (as this is) is on a back burner; not a priority. Nu Flow has not scheduled completion of these repairs despite many requests for them to do so. Insurance considers each sewer backup to be a separate claim and the expense is below the deductible for this Association, of which I am the manager. The sewer backups will continue until Nu Flow completes their repairs and undoes the damage left when they cut out a section of the epoxy and left it in the main sewer line to block the drain line from the building that is continuing to experience these backups.Desired Settlement: Nu Flow has been paid for their work; they have no incentive to make this right except for public pressure and negative word of mouth to other potential clients. They need to come in and fix the problem that they created. The Association will not be recommending this company for future work.

Nu Flow was first hired to complete a hot water pipe reline in 13 buildings and the crew that did that project was excellent; they solved slab leaks that were occurring monthly. The Association was and is still thrilled with what they had done. But, then, they said that they could do two of the sewer mains and they were hired for that because of the result of the first project.

It was like we had hired two different companies. The sewer pipe reline has been an expensive nightmare for the owners and the Association.

Honor the warranty and get the job done now. And, replace the people who have been stalling and not returning our calls or promising the work and cancelling on it last minute.

Review: [redacted]as been convinced by [redacted]f NuFlow technologies that his product to epoxy coat the linings of our pipes (1.5 million dollars) is appropriate a d safe for all. This is an elderly community and many doctors, including mine, have advised owners against the product for health reasons including lack of data regarding sustained long-term use (the technology is new, we are essentially test pilots), leaching of voc's and other toxic chemicals, and the allergenic properties of resin (I fall into all three categories.) Bellows publicly asserts doctors don't know what they are talking about, indicating incompetence;that the product has to be safe because it is installed in the white house and capitol (but failed to note those are not residences) and no one has died yet;; that the product is 100% safe for everyone, because the [redacted] says so.,a fact not substantiated by the [redacted] or the [redacted] Those agencies state that no drinking water remedy is 100% safe for everyone, that ALL remedies have contaminants, and the [redacted] directs people to follow the advice of their doctors, especially the elderly and those with compromised immune systems. Bellows claims of chemical contaminates is confusing and vague, at one point denying the produce contained BPA. No data is presented regarding safety claims and neither I or regulatory agencies have been able to locate product safety data nor can the required [redacted] sheet be located. It is supposed to appear on their web site and does not. Product safety claims are false, misleading and reckless. Despite the "100% safe for everyone claim", neither the association nor NuFlow will sign a statement of safety and liability if we get sick. I'vbeen threatened in writing I (and others) must go along with epoxy or we will get thrown out of our homes and the product will be imposed. Despite denials to the contrary, NuFlow has been responsible for burning down houses.Desired Settlement: I want NuFlow to substantiate their claims of safety and produce the required [redacted]. I want all their claims above stated in writing, including the statement that doctors don't know what they are talking about. I want any and all product warnings to be disclosed to owners . I want both NuFlow and the [redacted] to sign a statement of safety and liability. Our doctors are neither misinformed nor quacks and I trust their medical safety advice over the claims of a salesman who stands to make 1.5 million dollars off of this. Further, I want all property damage mishaps disclosed to the community. I want the [redacted] to allow substitute products deemed safer by our doctors.
