Nu Life Cleaners

Review: I have been going to NU Life Cleaners for years. It is my understanding that NU Life Cleaners has recently undergone new ownership (end of 2013). As I normally do, I brought a group of shirts to NU Life Cleaners. When I picked then up, I noticed three shirts had very noticeable stains on them. One of the shirts was a brand new white shirt, never worn, and brought there solely for the purpose of being pressed. When I brought the shirts back they were willing to rewash the white shirt because it could be bleached, but the other two shirts, because of their color, could not be bleached. When I asked the man behind the counter (not sure of his name, but he is the only one there during the day) what could be done to fix the issue, I received nods of the head, blame for causing the stains myself, attitude, limited response, eventual swearing, and a refusal to try and make this right. One of the shirts is completely ruined as the stain is large, very noticeable, and on the collar. This complaint is more for the principle (which I am sure is what most people say) than the value of the shirt. I told the man working there that if they continue to treat customers this way they will not be in business very long (under current management), and since he was so discourteous and failed to offer any form of remedy, the basis of this complaint was formed.Desired Settlement: [redacted] Shirt, purchased a[redacted].
