Lied and said there was a 10 year warranty. Didn't do the job right at first and also lied when someone called to claim the warranty.I had [redacted] refinish my bathtub in 2012 he didn't do the job right at first with some patches left in the finishing. He said there was a 10 year warranty on the tub. He said so in an email. He didn't do the job right at first. When I asked him to come and fix it, he kept on giving excuses like taking care of elderly grandmother and too busy. I let it go for some time knowing I would not have any progress with him... when I tried again after some renters have left, he would not answer the phone. This was in [redacted] of 2015. When my real estate broker called him he said that it was a different [redacted] and not the one from the bathtub company. What a pathetic lie. His phone number has not changed.Desired SettlementNeeds to refund or somehow be held accountable for his dishonesty
Rich stated that he would refinish our tub/shower including the creaking at the bottom of the unit and would return if any issues. Refuses to return.On or about the date of [redacted] from Nu-Look Refinishing had come to refinish our tub/shower combo. This included resolving the creaking issue with the units floor. When completed he explained that there would be some fumes that would dissipate when unit was drying and not to use unit for at least 24 hours after. He also stated that if we found any issues with the work performed that he would come back to address it. He asked for payment in full like we agreed upon and he accepted a check. After the 24 hrs we noticed multiple runs of the finish through out the unit and the creaking still the same as when he started. We sent him an email and he scheduled a time for the following week that he would be back. When that time came and he didn't show, we emailed him again and he answered that he hurt himself and could not make it. Since then my wife and I have called or emailed many times resulting in no response from him at all. Licence # XXXXXX Invoice # XXXXX. Paid [redacted] with a personal check on [redacted] We do have all emails between us. we have a brochure, his business card, and documentation of work to be performed as wellDesired Settlementwe would like to have him come back to refinish/repair the issues that happened due to his poor workmanship or a refund so as we can hire a professional to refinish the job that we wanted originally.
