11/2/15After reviewing the complaint from [redacted] , I am happy to let you know that this matter has been settled in the beginning of OctoberHis replacement glass has been installed at no charge to the customer, and there were no further issues reported to us.Thank you, Nu-View Exteriors

I am rejecting this response because: the leak I referred to was there before the new roof was installed.  I had mentioned it to Kevin in a request for a roofing quote in July.  He ignored the issue in July and even failed to get me a roofing quote (zero follow up).  The current response from my point of view is fiction.
I sent them video of the issue.  Took many days off work.  Told the crew when they were onsite and they just stated they could do nothing today.  Why did I take the day off work then??? 
Bottom line is that they do not stand behind their work and in my opinion are con artists

Review: I admittedly was a returning customer to NuView when it was time to buy another storm door even though my experience the first time around was mediocre. As a returning customer, I was still treated so poorly. I bought a door from them 4 or 5 years ago and they had a few mistakes, but they came and fixed them. I then had two doors installed 2 years ago and that process took so long, the doors were weeks late, they forgot to put a mail slot in the front storm door, and they gave me the wrong back door. They corrected some of the issues but I just said give me the wrong doors. I was tired of dealing with them. Recently, each door had issues so I called them and asked them to come and fix the issues. They first wanted to charge me 50$ for the visit.

I explained/reminded them what they put me through a while back and that they had verbally apologized for the delays and mistakes and said if you have any issues at all, please call us. They listened to me tell them this and they said they would call back. They never did. I had to call them two more times, still pay the 50$ and their response about the door closer (the part that props the door open), once he replaced a part and it clearly still wasn't working, was that "they just stop working. There really is no fix". Their follow up customer service is extremely weak and one of my doors is still not fixed.Desired Settlement: This company touts that "NuView Home Remodeling has been serving the Delaware Valley since 1979. With an A+ Rating with the Revdex.com and an A Rating from [redacted]’s List, NuView has been the contractor of..."

I would like Revdex.com to review them and consider if they should still have an A plus rating. Their customer service was just so poor.

Review: The company, Nu-View Service LLC, built a new roof for us about three years ago. We have a few leaks showing up. I called them a dozen times and left messages. No one returned my calls. I went to their website and filled out their contact form. I did not get a response from the company.Last week I spoke to a man named [redacted] who promised to call me back but he never did.They have completely ignored me!Desired Settlement: They need to come over and repair the leaks.

Roof installed in 12/2011 had recent issues with leaks. Sent our service technician out on 8/27/2013 to evaluate. He accessed roof area and determined the leak was not coming from the 12/2011 installed roof but a badly corroded 6" heater vent stack line exposed on rooftop. This vent line also happens to be directly above area of leak reported on inside of house. Our technician applied roofing cement to vent line to prevent or stop leak at no cost to the homeowner.

Review: Nu View installed 10 windows at our home and they caulked and finished the windows in a sloppy manner and with no workmanship. Also some of the windows are tilted and appear to be installed incorrectly. They left a mess at my home. The also damaged the siding in the back of my house by denting it with a ladder. Some the windows are not square or level. Also they bent our aluminum siding while installing a window. They removed wood and installation after taking out the old windows and never replaced it with new insulation. The damaged two window sills inside our home.We contacted Nuview and told them of these issues as well as some other things. After the owner came to our home and looked at the capping and finish of the windows he promised to recap all the windows. He advised his foreman would be over to recap everything on a specific day and nobody showed up at my house and we never received a call advising why nobody came. My wife called and spoke to the office manager Bill and he promised to call her back and he never did. She called again and then spoke to the owner and asked that they give us a date as to when they would come and recap the windows. Instead one person showed up to look at the windows that were installed. They agreed workmanship was not good and they advised they would be at my home today with a crew to recap the windows and to fix anything that was not properly installed. Once again nobody showed up and nobody called to advise us they were not coming. I called today to ask why there was no crew at my house and was hung up on. After multiple calls the issues with Nu View's installation of ten windows has not been addressed and again and no call. I am now after multiple contacts with the company filing a compalintDesired Settlement: I want the job done right

My issue with NuView has been resolved.

Review: We had new windows and a new roof installed by Nuview. The workers did not install the vented soffits correctly. There is wood covering the vents which voids the manufacturer warantee on the roof. Some windows were not installed well and are not sealed properly. We have scheduled over 6 times for them to fix these issues. They have not showed up and also have not let us know that they were not going to show up. During installation, one worker fell through our ceiling which resulted in a loss of our attic insulation in that area. They patched it, but it is still very evident where the person fell through. Due to failure to correct the installation errors after over 6 scheduled dates (and failure to notify owner that they would not be coming), we request remuneration. This would cover the cost of:1) fixing the venting2)sealing the windows3) 3rd party to verify there are no other errors in roof or window installation4) reimbursing money spent on 11 months of heating and air conditioning (increased expense due to incorrect venting as well as insulation that was not replaced after they fell through the ceiling).5) replacing insulation6) painting the ceilingDesired Settlement: $5000This would cover the cost of:1) fixing the venting2)sealing the windows3) 3rd party to verify there are no other errors in roof or window installation4) reimbursing money spent on 11 months of heating and air conditioning (increased expense due to incorrect venting as well as insulation that was not replaced after they fell through the ceiling).5) replacing insulation6) painting the ceiling7) any other unknown errors in the installation that require repair

Review: I have contacted Nuview for the past month (3) times to get a warrantee replacement window, because of condensation between the panes. I have had no response for themto come out and fix the window,under warranty.Desired Settlement: Come out and fix the window in a reasonable amount of time, and they do not get back to the customer.

We have documented that [redacted] contacted our office to report a seal failure in her window the morning of 9/18/2013. Her information was verified and pased along to our service technician. Our service technician attempted by phone to contact customer several times but both numbers on file were not valid. On 10/8/2013 my office manager sent the following email out

“Good Morning [redacted]!

This is [redacted] from Nu-View Windows, my service technician [redacted] has been recently trying to contact your to evaluate you seal failed glass unit but both phone numbers we have for you do not work. I have the following numbers on file for you:

###-###-#### ###-###-####

If there is a better contact phone number can you please call me so can pass it along to [redacted]. We look forward to helping you with your glass."

There was no response to that email. [redacted] phoned the morning of 10/16/2012 and told us she was not happy that no one has been in touch with her. I verified the phone numbers given and she let us know that the cell phone number was no longer valid but the home number was. Immediately after speaking to her we tried to ring the home number but it was still not working. We then phoned her back on the number she called in non which wad her cell number,documented that number and updated her information. The glass measure was accomplished soon after and glass was ordered 10/18/2013. The installation of that glass should be accomplished NLT10/31/2013.

I am rejecting this response because: My home phone number ###-###-#### is a perfectly good working operating phone number they have never attempted to call that number. I also feel that I should not have to call and remind them to come out to take measurements and make the final repair as they Told me to do.

I am also getting conflicting verbal Estimates as to the warranty repair.
