I am rejecting this response because: I have never made a late payment on my vehicle & when adding up all receipts for my payments, it shows that Nu2u has not applied 4,000 dollars of my money to my car note. As well as telling me that the balance on my car is higher than what it really should be.
Regards,

[redacted] purchased the vehicle from us for $16,995 and is financing that vehicle. [redacted] is presently $6,558 behind in her payments and has been informed on numerous occasions of how far behind she is. She has made no attempt to get caught up, she only falls further and further behind. The...

only car has not been repossessed yet is because her mom is a childhood friend of the owner. We have no knowledge of odometer fraud.

ms [redacted] purchased a car from our establishment. the car NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. as a matter of fact she was offered an extended warranty that she turned down. several days later she called stating the car broke down. we towed the car in and with her approval we diagnosed the problem and...

fixed it. when presented with the bill she refused to pay. her mother called and threatened with a law suit , then proceeded to threaten with physical harm. we needed to contact the police for our protection. as of today she has not made a car payment, which caused the finance company to repossess the car. thankyou in advance [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: no one ever told me I had to put down 1,000 I was the one who said I wanted to put down 1,000 ..so they are lying....my neighbor went with me I have proof they lie...the car has more issues than a dead battery..the first suv I wanted to buy had a crack in the exhaust. Tell them to prove the car doesn't have more issues than a battery my roadside assistance said so themselves it wasn't the battery...this place is lying they need to give me my money back..or I will sue them. For slander plus for my 1,000

I am rejecting this response because:
Response to Kenny: The vehicle was in my possession from February 2015 until August 2016 (19 months). My monthly payment was $400 per month. As of August 2016, the balance paid should have been $7,600. According to my records, I have paid a total of $2,500. Of the time that the vehicle was in my possession, the balance remaining is $5,100. According to Kelly Blue Book, the vehicle is valued at $3,472. This leaves a balance of $1,628. According to my mechanic, the repairs, tow, and labor should roughly come to $1,500. This leaves a balance of $3,128 for the time the vehicle was in my possession. I would be willing to pay $3,128 as a full and final payment to resolve this issue. Kenny, when I spoke to Amber in August 2016 she kindly advised me that the vehicle would be fixed, sold, and my account would be credited. She properly communicated this to me in writing. I was more than willing to cooperate and would have done anything possible to have the matter resolved at the time. When I reached back out to you in November 2017, initially you stated you never received the vehicle, then you found the car and advised me that you never received the key (which I know we turned over to your tow driver at the time). Regardless, your company did not properly communicate to me that you did not receive the key and could not complete the repairs that were promised, even though you had my current phone number at the time and my email address which I have had for the last ten years. Recently, immediately after advising me that you did not have the key, I rushed to have one made (it took me less than 1 hour to do so, not long at all). Now that time has lapsed due to your company’s failure to properly communicate with me, you are justifying your value by claiming “storage fees”. If Amber (or anyone) had advised me that you could not carry out your initial promise to me, I could have easily retrieved a second key for you, the vehicle would have been repaired, the value of the car would not have depreciated, and the car would have been sold. As stated above, I would be willing to pay $3,128 as a full and final payment to resolve this issue. Thank you.Regards,

I am rejecting this response because:
The merchant’s response is inconsistent and false. My goal here is to be able to settle this debt. However, the merchant’s practices are highly unfair, neglectful, and violates my rights as a consumer. First, during my conversation with Mr. C[redacted] on 9-12-17, he advised that he has no record of anyone picking up my vehicle. He very sarcastically advised me that “he would search for it under every rock”. The fact that he is now aware of who picked up my vehicle and what was done with the vehicle is new information to me. On August 31, 2016, I had a conversation with employee Amber from Nu2U via text on her phone # [redacted]. I would be happy to furnish a copy upon request. The conversation is as follows:Wednesday, August 31, 2016Me: Hello can you have someone come get the car.Amber: Sure where is it?Me: It is at [redacted] The driver can call my fiancé [redacted] at [redacted] if he needs help finding the car. Thank you.Amber: Ok. What’s the last name on the accountMe: [redacted]Amber: Ok. ** happy birthday.Me: Thank you and I appreciate your help. The vehicle was in fact picked up by a heavyset, white male who was handed the keys by my boyfriend, [redacted]. Prior to the vehicle being towed by this white male, [redacted] opened the vehicle with the keys and took out our personal belongings including registration, insurance ID, and items in the trunk. The merchant claims that the tow man was not given the keys---this is completely false. In addition, no attempt from Amber or any employee from Nu2U was made to collect the keys thereafter, as falsely stated. I had spoken to Amber that day, why didn’t she call me or text me? The merchant also had my email stored on file because I have 2 emails from the merchant (which I would be happy to furnish upon request)---I received 0 emails regarding keys. Prior to the above conversation with Amber, and the vehicle being towed, I spoke to Amber on a different occasion via text (can be furnished upon request). It is as follows:Monday, July 18, 2016Amber: Hi this is amber from nu2u I am trying to find out when you are coming in to make a payment. This message is for [redacted]Tuesday, August 16, 2016Me: Hi amber. I sent you an email a couple of days ago regarding the Malibu. The car I purchased from your dealership broke down on me 4 months after my purchase. A professional advised me that it would cost me more to repair the vehicle than the car is worth. I cannot afford the payments of the vehicle and I would like to return it. Can u tell me what the process consists of?Amber: When can u bring the car back?Me: It would need to be towed. Can you tell me how this process works?Amber: Once the car gets here we will fix it and try to resell it. Or we can fix it cheaper than anyone else, and u can have it backMe: And if you resell it, will I be responsible for any balances? I’m sure there are some sort of fees associated. I definitely do not want the car back.Amber: Yes you are responsible for the balanceMe: Will you try to sell it at around the same price that it was sold to me?Amber: Of courseAfter the vehicle was picked up, along with the keys, I allowed time for the repairs and attempts to resell. Per the merchant’s response, neither was done. Amber had my current email and phone number at the time. No contact was made or attempted any time after the vehicle was towed. My text messages with Amber shows that I was more than willing to work with the company to settle this matter. Why would I avoid Nu2u after working with Amber and having returned the vehicle? Where is my vehicle now? I am not responsible for all or a portion of the balance if the merchant failed to move forward with the process after I returned the vehicle along with the keys. The merchant is making false claims to cover up their unkept records. I have a balance, yet I do not have a product or options as a consumer.

[redacted] purchased her vehicle on 2-14-15 and after 3 months of payments, she stopped paying on May 29th, 2015. After several attempts to get in touch with [redacted], the vehicle was put out for repossession in August of 2015. [redacted] claims the vehicle was so bad it was unable to be driven yet...

she drove the vehicle for 1 year and 3 months without making any payments prior to contacting us. The vehicle was picked up by a heavyset African American man who worked for the tow company, not a white, heavyset male. The keys were unavailable when he towed the vehicle and we were informed that they would be dropped off the next day. We reached out to [redacted] multiple to get the keys and were unable to get in touch with her. The vehicle was unable to be looked at or repaired without the keys. On 9-12-17, [redacted] called Nu2u Auto World and became irate. She refused to listen and was cursing at Mr. C[redacted] repeatedly until he hung up. [redacted] should be charged for the towing. We are asking for her outstanding balance to be paid in full to settle this account.
