The plumber was supposed to run down camera down my drain and he did everything but this.
I spoke with *** regarding plumbing issues and she was going to send someone out on3/13/2018 to run a camera down the drain pipe. He called my cell on 3/12 and left a message I called him back and he didn't answer. *** did everything but run a camera down the drain! This was the only thing he was supposed to do!! The piping under the sink was not glued together because so he could run the camera down the drain!! He was supposed to com on 3/13/2018 but showed up on 3/12/2018. If he would have answered my phone call and if *** would have told him everything I discussed with her on the phone I would not be filing this complaint!! I want my $265.00 refunded back to me!!

Desired Outcome

I want a refund of $265.00!! *** states my husband *** told him to fix it and this is a lie! My husband was working in the back room and did not tell him to fix anything! I have called several times and have been told that *** was the person I needed to talk to but she supposedly has been out of the office!

In response to the case that was filed our company was called and asked to camera line. When we arrived the entire sink under was not glued together. The husband was there and spoke with our technician. When you call a plumbing company and ask for someone to come detect a sewer "smell" it is process of elimination and I spoke to her about this in length, and that is just what we did. The husband did speak with our plumber and they discussed that it all had to be properly sealed. That is where we began. I did speak with *** in depth for about 30 min and she informed me they have "tried everything". Including putting new cabinets in..... When you are called out for a "smell" it is a process of elimination as previous stated and I told her that when we spoke. She did NOT inform me that the sink was hooked up improperly at all or I would of expressed to her that is where we would start. Improper connection could cause a smell. Our plumber did call and she did not answer as we went to the alternate number which was her husband. We did go and try to locate this smell but with the process of elimination that means fixing things that can lead to this and an open trap is one of them.
She called the office on 03/19/2018 and I spoke with her along with the plumber in our office and tried to explain this to her. At that time she had no time for that. She stated that her husband has "no voice" and did not speak up. They did not want that done. Had he expressed that he did not want if fixed correctly then we would of left. At that point without the pipes hooked up correctly we would have not proceeded any further. As with any job we are not going to do unnecessary work and at this time we were called to determine a sewer smell and when we arrive the "guts" under the sink were not put together correctly and that is one thing we as a plumbing company to try and eliminate the smell was the first step in the process of elimination.
As a company and the plumber that we had on the job feel confident that we did what we were called out to do. Now that things are hooked up properly under her sink it very well could eliminate her smell. If she has any further questions I will be glad to communicate with her. As for her asking for a refund she did NOT. She was mad that I told her if we came out there and camera the line there would be additional charge. I could not get out that we would give a discount on that before she loudly hung up the phone on me.

I did call *** and tell her everything we have done in the past! I did tell her I wanted the plumber to run the camera down the drain and the pipes were not glued in order for the plumber to run the pipe down the drain!!! *** told me on 2/19 she was just the middle man so apparently she did not do her job as being a middle man! I want a complete refund and I will constantly tell people to never use this company! And if the plumber would have answered the phone when I returned his call and if the plumber would have came on the original date of 3/13 I would have been glad to Supervisor him because apparently he needs supervision! So if the middle man *** would do the right action which is admit they are in the wrong and return my $265.00 would be the proper response!

E-mail from business:

Thank you for your assistance. There is no resolving this issue with *** hopefully she will find a company that will suite her. We will be glad to refund her money for the problem the we fixed. That might have taken care of her smell having it installed correctly. It will go out on the 12th.

I still have the smell under my sink just as before you did nothing for me except waste my time because as I told you on the phone I have all these things done before! I only wanted you to run the camera down the drain!
