The Worst Customer Service in the Country
NuCO2 is the most dishonest company I have ever had the misfortune to work with in 30+ years in the restaurant industry. Their service is deplorable--I ordered CO2 over 2 weeks ago and have still not received that delivery. Moreover, NuCO2 clearly has a disdain for their customers. They are rude, condescending, and dismissive knowing the document they swindle you into signing effectively states, they are immune to any recourse a customer may hope for when they neglect to service an account. Do not do business with this company under any circumstances

Horrible horrible, unethical company
Common thread when you read the reviews on this company…. They sound great when you meet with the rep, sign the contract that is not walked through with you at all. DO NOT SIGN THEIR CONTRACT! So my husband, who never just signs anything, signed the contract, turns out is an 8year contract with auto renewal unless you tell them at least 12months before it expires you will not be renewing. Well, I told them right away I would not be renewing, sent it via email and I still make sure 3 years later that email is still there. Rates have gone through the roof. Signed on at $49 a month a now 5 years late we are hovering at $107. When they fill up they come randomly and just charge you, you have no idea they are coming. We do not go through a lot of gas however, we seem to need a lot at fill up time. Their invoicing is horrible. They can’t keep their own accounting straight. You would think when you send a payment in for $107 it would zero out your account, nope, I get emails telling me I missed a payment. I show them the bank statement and they tell me oh well $50 of your 107 went to pay your late bill for 2022. That makes not F’n sense since I don’t have an unpaid bill from 2022 and even if I did why are you choosing this time a year later to pay that bill? There is something very unethical about their billing process. When they send you a spreadsheet it is so wrong but they will not listen to you. I have literally linked up each invoice with a confirmed payment from my bank statements and they still tell me I am wrong. I write all invoices down on the payment and the bank pulled the actually BillPay statement that shows the amount and the invoices number I wrote on it to reference, but NuCO2 says no that payment went towards this bill. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They should be sued and I would love to but I don’t have that kind of time or money.

Try working for nuco2! McDonald's have better benefits. Wish is why they have to get all the left over drivers. If u need a driving job don't work here! Under pay shifty benefits n bad management! To top heavy there just waiting to retire. Don't care about the customer or their drivers.

Totally disappointed! Waiting since three days as the agent committed each day that they are delivering but still waiting on to get my co2 tank filled.I have a lot of customer complaints and my business effected .This is unprofessional , each time when I call at the customer service department I had to wait 20 to 22 minutes in my busy hours .

Terrible Communication
We initiated contact with NUCO2 on 28 August 2022 at 10am due to CO2 tanks being empty. This is unusual and has not happened in 4 years. We were initially told that we would be contacted as soon as they received an Estimated Time of Arrival from the Depo and driver. We called several times on Sunday each time we were given the same information that customer service was waiting on a driver. Finally at 5pm Franchisee Sarah Little called and Customer Service Representative Erick let her know that the depo was closed on Sunday. She was very disappointed that none of the other representatives cared to share this information with our company. Franchisee Sarah Little requested a supervisor to go over the lack of accurate communication. Erick transferred her to the Supervisor who did not answer. Franchisee left a detailed message on the voicemail gave 2 phone numbers for contact and an email. Franchisee Sarah Little then sent an email online to address the issue. Monday morning Franchisee called customer service again to get an ETA was given the same rehearsed blurb that they were sending an email to depo and that the depo would update with an ETA as soon as they had one. Franchisee Sarah Little waited for contact and received nothing from either the depo or the supervisor she left a message with Sunday. Franchisee Sarah Little called back Tuesday and received the same rehearsed blurb. On Tuesday Franchisee began shopping out other CO2 providers in the area and was immediately put in contact with the accounts representative for Holton. They were able to get the conversion initiated within minutes. It is now Wednesday 31 August 2022. Franchisee Sarah Little has still received no communication from anyone at NUCO2. Franchisee has contacted other CO2 providers is waiting for NUCO2 to receive the necessary information and is requesting a release from contract. The issue is not the lack of CO2 but the lack of any communication about the matter. Franchisee Sarah Little is sending this finally email in hopes of getting in contact with any member of this company. Franchisee Sarah Little is also forwarding this email to the Better Business Bureau. Please have someone contact us as soon as possible.

NuCO2 is the worst.
I want to ask anyone successfully got out of the contract? My business closed this year and they sent a cancellation fee of $7000. I want to ignore it but worry it might be on my credit report. I like to know how have success fighting off the bogus contract?

Disgusted with their service
Today I had the displeasure of talking with a woman named Lori from NuCo2 in Houston, TX. Horrible and awful lady who treated me and my manager like crap and talked back and argued with us the whole time. All we wanted was for a technician to come look at our CO2 tank as we were told by Pepsi that there was a leak. She kept arguing say it doesn’t sound like a leak OVER THE PHONE and we told her our Co2 was running out quickly, please stop arguing with us because we still want someone to check it out and she yells back “IM NOT ARGUING!”. We were ready to get off the phone but she kept wanting to argue about some nonsense. I finally had to tell her we were recording the conversation and she finally stopped acting like a child and finally got us what we asked for which was an appointment with the service technician. Most ridiculous customer service experience I've ever had.

Nuco2 Great Service
Change in the restaurant industry is never easy as we know so when I decided to look into changing my CO2 supplier of 24 years it took the professional skill of Kathryn Cowen to service our change out requirements of all of our franchise locations in multiple states.

Unfortunately our industry sometimes has people who lack the professional ability to "follow through" on what we require as very restaurant operators to implement a change like this however this was not the case with Kathryn Cowen.

In my 30 plus years of being in the restaurant industry I can confirm that I found a professional account executive in Kathryn Cowen who does what she said she and her team will do and when she and her team will do it.

From the sounds of the other reviews I have read it sounds like NUCO2 needs to hire more people like Kathryn Cowen.

I did give a 4 star rating as we did run out of CO2 at one restaurant and they lost one of my bulk CO2 tanks for a couple of weeks but Kathryn sorted it all out.

Covid-19 response
I've been closed since March 12. I've had to refund or credit customers. I asked NuCO2 for a credit and was told no. I've cancelled my account and am either going to Airgas or Holston Gas. I wonder if NuCo2 has received EIDL? Anyone know if we can find out?

Worst Under Manged CompanyI ever Worked For
Manager always lies,Talks crap about every driver,or he says this guy said this or this...The People they Pick for Management are Dumbest I ever met...Tries to make everyone else look bad,When he is the incompetent one...Your over worked,under paid,and thier Trucks are broke down half the Time..DON'T EVER WORK HERE IT SUCKS!...The turn around rate is bad...SO GLAD I LEFT...LOCATION IS LAVISTA NEBRASKA...MANAGER CHRIS NICHOLS...STUPID STUPID...DAVE HIS BOSS STUPID STUPID...

NuColet us run out of gas this past July, November & now JanuaryFirst time it happened I was told the driver came on Sunday memorial weekend & we were closedWe are always closed on Sunday & why did the driver not reschedule? Then I was charged $ emergency fee to come out, which after complaining was removed.Then again, ran out months later because they never came back!! Inconvenienced to say the least, lost sodas & draft sales!!!! Wrote a letter, called, no one respondedNow, months later....RUN OUT AGAIN!!! Called, COMPLAINED & was told someone would contact me, STILL WAITING.....and my final straw was the new bill charging me another $ emergency fill up BECAUSE THEY LET ME RUN OUT!!! (Contract says we will NEVER RUN OUT, what a BREACH!!!)This little Fish in their big Pond is tired of being IGNORED, and has now switched to a local company ,who not only resolved my problem within the hour, they answered the phone when I calledNow that is good service!!

Installed Co2 lines ON TOP of the floor in bar, we trip over and them constantly. When asked about it they replied that’s how they do it. 2 years later I have a bad keg cooler I need to replace but can’t get them to come out and move the lines so I can get it out. Latterly have my whole bar boxed in.
