January 8, 2016 Nueces Monuments [redacted] 2501 S.P.I.D Corpus Christi, Texas 78415 Ref: ***, [redacted] # [redacted] To whom it may concern: Unfortunately we had the... vases on back order, once we did receive them we were in the process of hiring new help due to loosing our employee. Once we caught up we scheduled vases to be set, I myself went with the workers to install the vases. I had another customer by the same last name and I thought vases were already installed for the marker for [redacted] ***. It was an honest mistake on my part. Another delay was the weather, when it rains or has rained the granite retains moisture and the glue doesn't do well when we set pictures or vases. My other apology is the lack of communication on my part. I was at the cemetery showing the new employee the how to's of the trade. We did indeed set the vases back on December 18, 2015 and I emailed the customer. Attached is a picture. If you have any further questions or concerns I can be reached via email. Thank you, [redacted] ***

Nueces Monuments only cares about collecting your money. They cash checks the day after you write them. They promise to order your product and give you a date for delivery. Our monument did not get ordered when it was supposed to. 6 months turned into one year because the owner spent the money, and didn't use it to order the monument. Manifests and tracking orders support these allegations. The worst part is that once the owner spends your money, she claims the cemetery wants additional money to set your monument. She will hold the monument hostage until you pay her more money to make up for what she spent. The products look good, but only because they come that way from wherever they are bought. This company only does engraving. You can't even talk to the owner about your order because she avoids phone calls. When she does take your calls, she lies or sidesteps the concerns you have. These people want your money. In exchange, you get nothing but frustration and worry while you're grieving.

We have made contact with the customer and they have approved the sketch as of last week. We have summited it to the supplier and piece should ship by the end of March.

On January 8, 2016 my mother and I went into Nueces Monuments on SPID. We ordered and paid for a double bronze monument for placement at Memory Gardens. The lady we did business with told us it would take 90 days from order to placement. It took one month for us to get the sketch to approve, which was emailed to me after many, many requests for it. After many, many calls to the ladies cell phone number to the next 70 days, she told us to come to the business to see the finished product. Imagine when we got there and it was a single bronze monument with a DIFFERENT name!!! She said she had our name confused with someone else. Our's was nowhere around, she stated it takes 60 days after approval of sketch for product to be completed!! Which is nothing close to what we were told when ordered and paid for. We then gave her a definite date of May 8,2016 for completion and setting. On May 8, 2016 we received a call from a gentleman named Tom, who stated he was some sort of "mediator". After corresponding with "Tom" on several occasions, you guessed it....still NO product. Today is May 17,2016 I told "Tom" in a phone conversation that we wanted a REFUND!! He will relay message to the lady at Nueces Monuments on Thursday, and will call me back by noon on May 19,2016 about our refund. Now filing complaint with Revdex.com.
