Review: I recently visited the hair salon to get micro-bead hair extension.I asked the gentlemen who know how to do a good job he named a person and before our conversation could continue the owner, Ebany, approached and said she could do this process for me. I explained that I had this done 5 years ago at the same mall and I was pleased. She mentioned briefly how she would perform this process. I was under the impression that there was only one process. I honestly don't recall her explaining this method only mentioning she could do what I wanted. I told her I wanted it done exactly like I had before and explained it was a long process with alot of micro-beads. I showed up for appointment with the hair I purchased. I noticed the Brazilian hair was on a long strip, different from what I remember using in the past but I trusted she knew what she needed.I asked her again if that was the correct hair, she said yes. I noticed she micro-beaded and then start sewing a long strip of hair with thread. I told her the thread was different than I remembered and it felt very tight on my head. She took pics and video to show staff for education. When she finished I told her it didn't look blended correctly. She added another layer which didn't matter. I didn't raise much of a fuss, it had been 2 1/2 hours. The whole evening I was bummed and my head was so sore. I got home and my 15 years old daughter and her friend noticed how unnatural it looked. I called Ebany immediately. She said she was sorry for my frustration and would refund 100% of my money the next day. I returned, she removed clips and said she would return only 50% because she lost money with time she spent with me. I told her regardless of the mis-communication of the method she used. It was an aweful job. I had lost $55 on the hair and now $50 on the service. I said my time was valuable too. I didn't argue with her...no sense. I disagreed with her decision and will never go back nor recommend her services to anyone. She been doing hair only 4 yrs.Desired Settlement: I would like the rest of my refund, of $50. It was a bad service and she knew I wasn't happy when I left and she knew it.She argues that I should have been more obvious than I was at the time.If she was going to 100% refund me then why not the next day? I deserve a full refund, not half. She did a bad job. I had already lost $55 purchasing the hair. I could be asking for that as well but I'm not.
