Steve seemed so reliable and thorough at our first meetings. I found his attention to detail to be impressive and I felt confident hiring him to install a length of cedar fencing. When asking for our final payment, he described plans to adjust some warping in the side rails and fix one leveling issue between posts. We returned from being away for three weeks and the warping had not been fixed but instead worsened. We also had an extremely loose post which caused the fence to pitch to one side. After three weeks of calling an emailing daily, Steve finally got back to me and scheduled a time to fix the fence. He did not come at the scheduled time nor did he notify me. His worker cake the next day when I was not home and poured new concrete in a way that caused large stones in our retaining wall to be misplaced. My husband and I corrected the issue with a few hours of work that evening, luckily before the cement cured. Steve offered no apology or aid. His worker who came back said the warping was an issue and they would rebuild the fence. Steve also promised this and notified me that he had purchased new material and would be there on a Tuesday. Again no one came or called to notify us, though I waited all day. I attempted to contact Steve again numerous times with no reply. I offered to have another company fix the fence and to bill him. No response. I'm at a loss now but an too busy and exhausted to keep contacting him with no reply. We have a crooked warped fence, damaged retaining wall, and stained driveway from concrete. Very unhappy with the lack of flow through and communication. Would absolutely not recommend.
