I am rejecting this response because:If there was a video of the conversation, then [redacted]'s response would have been recorded. It would have shown that I was in there for almost 2 hours waiting for my car to be looked at. I NEVER ever said my brother was a mechanic. I said my brother didn't want me to leave our car there. I said he drives the car a lot & didn't want me to leave it there because he felt the price [redacted] quoted- over $400.00 was way too much. Which in fact It was! I've since had the car repaired. The back sensor needed to be replaced for only $250.00 from a car repair that does work on Chicago police cars & many Chicago business cars. The owner told me it never needed all the work that [redacted] & Nuno's said it needed. [redacted] also told me my car was leaking oil all over the bottom of the car. My mechanic I brought it to, wiped off a little bit of residue of oil & said it's absolutely nothing. [redacted] said my car needed a few other things- like shocks & new tires. My car didn't need any of those things. Also, I thought [redacted] said there was no charge to look at the car. The prices have a much lower amount on the board in the business. No one I ever went to at any time- any mechanic- never charged me to just look at my car. I never saw my car being put on a diagnostic computer either. They were eating lunch & told me to wait to get the keys back for my car. [redacted] asked me how much my house sold for & where I live & how much the rent was where I lived. If they were recording the conversation, that would be on the recording. Those questions were NONE of [redacted]'s business. Nuno's is very unprofessional. I would never recommend them to anyone that needed a car repair ever. They are very rude mechanics also. The manager is very mean & rude.

in response to Ms [redacted] concerns, she did not realize we have cameras and video in the stores, I personally listened to the entire conversation and let me tell you she is a very good actress. She arrived at location to get her ABS light diagnosed because she was tired of getting the run around....
Store manager [redacted] dealt with her, explained to her our diagnostic fee was $79.99 not $21.95? the technician test drove vehicle and proceeded to run diagnostic, the result was the left rear speed sensor was inoperative, [redacted] proceeded with an explanation of price and repairs needed. It was Ms [redacted] that started talking about where she lived? Claimed she used to live in the area, I played this video over and over, and [redacted] NEVER asked her any personal questions, our standard write up procedures are to get customers name,adress,and contact number that is it, she couldn't make a decision on repairs because her brother is a (MECHANIC) so she was waiting for over 30 minutes, for a phone call from him. Yes our people have to eat, especially when they are waiting on response to a repair. We were not aware taking a lunch was illegal. Immediately after she declined repairs, her vehicle was pulled out. She begged for a discount claiming she would bring vehicle back, that's when store manager [redacted] , in good faith charged her $50 not $79.99 as she signed and agreed originally . We have done nothing wrong, at this time we will not issue credit, on the contrary we deserve an apology for the untruthful statements Ms [redacted] has made towards the staff at location.
