I signed on with Nurizon Van Lines to move my family from South Carolina to Pennsylvania They weren't the cheapest but they price matched I gave the full inventory of our apartment and storage unit, save for some things in storage that I might not have remembered They did get all the big and heavy furniture for the estimate I was given a pick up date of June 11th They showed up June 13th, days late I was told that we would get our stuff within 3-days but days usually never happens Then I get a phone call from the movers saying that it'll be between 7-days until we get our stuff It won't be here now until the 29th, one day later than the movers said and days later than Nurizon's "representative" said I use quotes because every time I ask for him, nobody has ever heard of him but I have emails with his name on it I expressed concern to this "representative" that I was worried that when the movers got here, I'd be charged way more than my estimate He told me not to worry, that I was in a binding, not to exceed contract and that they over estimate to be on the safe side The movers called and said I owe twice what my estimate was because they UNDER estimated my poundage Nurizon never answers the phone and never gets back to customers promptly They have lied and withheld information to get my money I shouldn't be on the hook for twice the amount because they under estimated ALL of our stuff This is a terrible company and would advise anyone thinking about using them to do research and go with a more legitimate company They'll sell you the world to get your deposit, even go as far as say they move your stuff themselves and you only deal with the "representative" and the driver which is the farthest thing from the truth Someone needs to shut this company down There's no way what they're doing is legal
If you are contacted by this company Run!! I was researching moving companies on line for my February move from Upstate New York to Florida, paid my $fee then had to make sure that I paid half of the balance via certified funds, cashiers check which I did, I get a call from the Drivers telling me they will be at my house within an hour, this was at 2pm drivers didn't get to my house until 9pm and finished loading at 1AMThey had movers to complete the job, they started wrapping my furniture in padding created crates then hit me with an additional $1,for packing fees on top of the $on top of the $900.00, the company that showed up was not Nurizon Van Lines But Moving Express & Storage, they were so unprofessional they were throwing the F Bomb and the N word like there was no tomorrow, complaining that they were hungry, so I went to McDonalds and bought $in food to shut them up so that I could get on the road as I was driving straight thru to Floridaafter all this one of they guys walked off the job said he was done and sat in the truck
Truck is finally loaded and they realize that the Truck is stuck in the Ice, they tried for over an Hour to get the truck unstuck in the meantime I am freaking out because the truck is pitching back and forth and side to side, I said to my brother in law dear lord everything is going to be ruined broke destroyed The driver finally came to the car and said that they were going to call a tow truck and it would be hours before they got therethis is already am and have a hour drive, we left I called Nurizon spoke to the manager I was told to contact Express moving and storage which I did, explained what had happened that I was not happy with the service or the attitude or professionalism of the movers, they were very apologetic and wanted to help in any way to make this betterthey deducted $off of the packing and gave me an extra day storageNow here it is April I called to have my furniture and belongings delivered they said it would be days, and to please have the additional $2200.00in cashiers check or I could pay via credit card for a fee of $ Furniture shows up and sure enough everything is destroyed, what wasn't destroyed is now missing, over $between damaged and missing goods, I called both companies and was told to file a claim, which I did here goes another run around, yesterday I receive a offer letter of $between the cost of the move and my destroyed and missing items im out over $15,and they offer $absolutely disgraceful I am not looking for a lawyer
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!

Well, I started looking for carriers on the Internet - just testing the market to see what it would costI had months before I needed to moveSo, I was not in a hurryI inquired through some website like movers.com or something like that (one of those ad websites that promises to give free moving estimates)Within minutes of filling out a moving profile, a representative from Nurison Van Lines (Nurison) called meI had never heard of Nurison, but the salesman had a good pitch and a good priceMy wife told me it was too good to be true! Unfortunately, I didn't listen
The salesman seemed legitimate, but I could not find any information on this company except on YP, which was the pitch used by the salesmanHe said, "We have positive reviews on YP." So, I checked it out and sure enough there were only good reviewsThis was still weird to me, but I contracted with them anyway and submitted a $deposit
They promised me that my move would occur within a two-day window and that all my worldly belongings would arrive at my new house within hours (the next day)They also assured me that they were not a freight brokerThey said that Nurison was the company that would transport my goodsThese assurances were given to both me and my wife on separate phone calls (or 6)My wife and I even clarified the grey parts of the contract and were given assurances that this was going to be the case
About days before my move was to occur I got a call from another carrier (America Wide Movers out of Atlanta) who said they were calling to confirm my pickup in daysI told them that I thought Nurison was going to move meThey said no, they were contracted to move meThey also told me they planned to move me in hours between 4pm and 8pmSo, I asked what time the shipment would arrive at my house the next dayThey told me that they didn't know when my shipment would arriveThey couldn' t even tell me if they could get it to me within a weekThey had planned to warehouse it until they could get another truck to pick it upThis was not what I contracted for
So, I contacted Nurison (the manager of the salesman who sold me this moving package), who told me that they were now not going to give me any assurances as to when I would receive my goods and that they would not actually be the carrier picking up and delivering my goods, and that I was still on the hook for a with my $deposit if I planned to cancel my moveI had some choice words with this manager and soon asked to talk with the sales representative who had apparently lied to me about the specifics of my moving contract
The salesman confessed to deceiving me and assured me that I would get refunded my depositI never received a refund thoughSo, I called back againThe manager told me that I would not receive a refund regardless of the fact that his agent offered me one and had lied to me to induce me to contract with them to begin with
I was not about to hand over everything I owned to an organization with such moral corruptionSo, I paid double the cost to have Men and a Truck move me within one dayMen and a Truck did a great jobNURISON STILL HAS MY $THAT THEY FRAUDULENTLY ACQUIRED!

Very bad service...never trust this company for your move.First they did not show up on the move date and I ended up moving all my stuff to storage.The next day they picked up and deliverd the stuff in 10 days but some of my item were missing parts and they claimed I lost them when I moved to storage.The deal was to dissemble and resemble but they did not do anything.
The person who quotes and give your moving information will never answer your call nor email after you give them deposit.
