Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintWe have reached out to this customer and have concluded that this was a simple misunderstandingThe customer wanted us to take apart his faucet and because our HVAC license does not cover plumbing, we reached out to our hot water heater
distributorHe gave us the name of a qualified plumber to double check the customer's faucetsWhen we followed up with the customer , he had already hired a plumber to change his faucet, which was over twenty years oldWe agreed to help with the plumber's labor charge and we feel that the issue is resolvedPlease note that we have changed more than water heaters per year over the past years that we have been in business and have never had this type of problem occurThis being said, we needed to do further research before we could properly access and resolve the problemIt was not a matter of negligence by Nutmeg Mechanical Services, but possible debris in the homeowner's pipes leading to the faucetNutmeg Mechanical Services and our customer worked together to resolve this issue.Respectfully,*** ***

Please note that we have changed more than 100 water heaters per year over the past 32 years that we have been in business and have never had this type of problem occur. This being said, we needed to do further research before we could properly access and resolve the problem. It was not a matter of negligence by Nutmeg Mechanical Services, but possible debris in the homeowner's pipes leading to the faucet. Nutmeg Mechanical Services and our customer worked together to resolve this issue.

nutmeg installed a furnace at my residence 2 yrs' ago.now I have a problem with it and they want to charge me a diagostics fee to come out to check .BAD BUSINESS

Review: Nutmeg came out to replace my hot water heater for approximately $1,200. After they were finished, my kitchen faucet started to experience very low pressure. I reported the problem and they sent out a tech to take a look. He couldn't figure it out, so he blamed it on the faucet spontaneously going bad on the same day the water heater was replaced. I asked if they would perform some more detailed test such as checking the lines for a clog. They would not. I mentioned that in that in the event that the faucet did go bad, the fact that it happened on the day of the repair would indicate that something they did caused it to fail. I asked if they would replace the faucet at no cost to me and they refused.Desired Settlement: All I ask is that they fix the water pressure in my kitchen faucet, whether that means replacing it or identifying and correcting the source of the issue. If they do not feel they are qualified to examine the plumbing, I would like them to send out a plumber at no cost to me
