COMPLAINT: I also was referred by my family MD. I had the same experience, I attended one appointment which was not very helpful in any way. I was pressured to make another appointment "just to hold a spot" and when I cancelled the day before , which they were told that would be the time frame because of holiday travel... they were rude . Then 6 months later I got a bill for a missed appointment from back in December of 2015. When I called I was hung up on and then turned over to first collect. I disputed the charge to no avail since I have an excellent credit rating and this could have hurt my reputation. I paid the fraudulent charge but it is my mission now to warn others of this type of charging practice.

Review: I was referred to Nutritionally Speaking by my family physician, Dr. [redacted], from Dover Family Physicians. I had 2 appointments with Nutritionally Speaking: (4/29/2014 @ 5PM and 5/12/2014 @ 5 PM, at their office. At my second appointment on 5/12/2014, I needed to schedule another appointment. I was advised to make an appointment because of availability and so I reluctantly made an appointment for 5/19/2014 @ 5:00 PM, however; with the agreement that I needed my wife at the appointment and that I could cancel it, if she could not make it. She could not make the appointment, so I called the earliest I could on Monday 5/19/2014, to cancel the 5:00 PM appointment. I was informed, I would be charged a Miss appointment Fee of $70. I disputed the charge, but on 6/17/2014, I received an Invoice for a missed appointment fee for $70. I attempted to contact the office manager [redacted], to discuss all the circumstances surrounding this charge. I was unable to reach him, but he did return my call once and left me a Voice Mail. On 7/29/2014, I received a second past due Invoice for $95 ($70 plus a $25 charge for nonpayment), still with no contact from the office manager. On 4/21/2015 ( 9 Months Later ) I received a notice from First Collect Inc. stating my account was overdue and has been placed with their collection agency. Their Account Summary is as follows: ( Principal 130 , Collection Charge 45.50, for the amount owed of $175.50 and a judgement if not paid. I seemed to have missed the Invoice that increased the principal amount due of $95 from the 7/29/2014 Invoice, to $130 principal amount due on the 4/21/2015 Collection Notice. I also have not received any follow up calls from the office manager from over a year ago to discuss these charges.Desired Settlement: I would like to do a reset back a year ago and discuss the initial charge with the office manager.
