Review: Wes A[redacted], working with a tile contractor, was doing work on a property I own but do not live in at the following address: [redacted]. He came in to address some plumbing issues and other work which he did with Mel L[redacted], of Lockhart Tile in Tappahannock. I asked for a contract to be written up but he stalled even as I wrote him incrimental checks as he did work. He agreed but then refused to provide it to me. At the last mini repair ($75.00) I told him I would not pay him until he did his write up of the plumbing issues and what hehad to do to remedy them. He then went crazy, texting me and calling me a [redacted] and threatening me repeatedly. I would be happy to pay him the final amount WHEN he does his write up. I offered multiple times to have him call me and I would type it on my computer and have it ready for his signature at the bank but he never called. He continues to harass me and threaten me.Desired Settlement: He gives me the write up, gets his signature notarized free at my bank and he gets his check for $75.00. I have already paid him several hundred dollars and he has thus far refused the contract and the write up. He has no problem texting so doing a write up is a piece of cake. Also, he tried to get other business from me and I hesitated since he steadfastly refuses the write up and producing a contract IN WRITING.
