My name is [redacted] and I’m contacting to request that my complaint be re-opened as it is not yet resolved. As my original complaint stated, I have been trying to get them to complete the final details of the construction project they were hired to do. I have gone at least 6 six months with them repeatedly saying they are working on a resolution but then my emails and phone calls went unanswered with nothing being resolved, which is when I wrote to Revdex.com. NW Square Deal did respond to the complaint online as follows:

We have made repeated efforts to have the sub contractors who originally did the work on the tile and the cabinets return to repair their work. At this point neither contractor will take my calls.  We have contacted the customer in response to this complaint and offered to resolve the issue by making the repairs ourselves at our own expence. As for the wall hanging we will replace that as agreed to previously. As for the credit for the difference in cost of counter tops we have offered to credit the customer the amount of their final payment of $1,335.00 which we have not invoiced to them due to these outstanding issues.

NW Square Deal indeed contacted me via email to set up a time to come out to the house stating they would finish the work themselves, which is acceptable to me if they in fact follow through. However, I did not respond online at Revdex.com because of my past experiences in which they have indicated for the past several months they would take care of the issues when in fact they did not and even stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. To say I have little trust in them is an understatement.

As of today, they made arrangements to come out to the house on Tuesday, 01/24/17 and Dan took a clean cabinet door to ‘match’ the paint and returned it on Wednesday but did not do anything to fix the cabinet in question or to advise on when he would return to fix that or what their resolution for the tile was. Additionally, his Revdex.com response also indicates that he would replace the wall hanging but we have yet to see that either. I sent a follow up email to Dan today (01/27/17 @ 9:12 a.m.) requesting that he advise what his next step/date was to get this finalized and resolved and am waiting for a response.

Finally, his Revdex.com statement says I owe him $ when in fact, I owe him nothing based on our last closing/sit down before we reviewed the final punch list—and I have a witness to this conversation who is my 29 year old daughter who was there when he said that his records indicated I had paid everything in full. In fact, I commented to her afterwards that I now felt that I had no leverage since I did not withhold a payment. One of the items in my original complaint was also that I had been requesting a copy of the invoices from the counter tile company because I was told when my original counter order was not placed timely and I had to choose another one or wait six more months for the original one, that they would give me an ‘incredible’ deal because of the mishap. We could not wait another 6 months and I had to end up settling for a counter top that could be available within 3 weeks instead; but I was never provided a copy of the cost difference from my original expensive choice to a lesser valued counter tile where I was suppose to get ‘an amazing deal’. In my estimation, NW Square Deal actually owes me money for the difference when he for the first time is now stating in his Revdex.com response that $ were ‘withheld’. This was absolutely never conveyed and is an untruth, which again gives me less faith in the credibility and ethics of this company. This along with the fact that it has been well over six months with me having to continue to bug them with no response until I went to the Revdex.com, I feel even more strongly they owe me even more for what they continue to put us through personally to try get this resolved.

Please reopen my complaint because of the continued issues outlined above. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call.

Sincerely,
