This contractor gave me a quote, a negotiated flat dollar amount, for the work I had requestedI hired this company thru Thumbtack
This was my project request: "There are multiple trees along the north side of my property lineI want all the branches and limbs that hang over to my side cut back."
This was the job description on the estimate: "All trees along the north property line will have limbs pruned up and away from property line for maintenance."
Communication was good until the day of work, cleanup was complete on site following the work
When I got home from work and they had already left there were at least 30' of cherry and oak branches still hanging over my deck and back yard, which was the main reason I had hired them to do the workWhen I inquired about this I was told that city codes prevented them from cutting to the top and their job was doneQuestions about this resulted with the owner saying, "I don'??t know what else to say, you hired a Certified
