Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because the statements made by the business are constricted by the attached documentation and by the truth about what occurred Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Hello [redacted] ,I never received the rebuttal response until now The original response to this complaint is factual and the home owners home warranty company, Choice Insurance Company, stands by the statement as well The home owner ruined his chances on any help from Choice Insurance company by his belligerent statements and actions to them and our company And again, we advised Choice Insurance Company to send out a contractor that repairs this specific water heater brand under its manufacturer warranty and for them to discuss the $deductible charge Currently, with the home owner complaining of a hot shower not exceeding past minutes every usage did not constitute a problem on this gallon tank to the insurance company But, if the hot water were to run out in a few minutes, then there would be an issue to its operations Again, this home owner will need to make amends with his insurance company if he is seeking his $deductible to be refunded He is under contractual obligation with them and he will need to read his policy in fullAlex C.NW Valley Mechanical LLC.Office: Fax: 503.954.2669http://www.nwvalleymechanical.com

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The insurance contract was not cancelled until after NW Valley Mechanical "no showed" the scheduled repair visit on 2/5/At this point I emailed the insurance company, First American Home Warranty, who assured me that all parts and work had been authorized, more than onceAfter more than months of trying to get the appliances repaired, and repeatedly getting no response from NW Valley Mechanical to phone calls and/or emails, I called my insurance company againAt that time they stated that they were having difficulties getting anyone from NW Valley to respond to their phone calls or emailsAt that time they suggested that we could try again with NW Valley, start from the beginning with another repair service, or I could cash outPlease keep in mind that I had been getting the run around for months from NW Valley Mechanical, and excuses from First AmericanI chose to cancel my home owners insurance policyAt that time I was assured that they would refund the $that I had paid to NW Valley at the time of the first visit on 10/29/2015, as soon as NW Valley closed out the ticketI have recently spoken with First American, they have stated that NW Valley has not closed out the ticket and they can not refund my $until the ticket has been closedIt is very difficult, after reading numerous other complaints, that both First American and NW Valley Mechanical are intentionally pointing the finger at one another, hoping that the involved consumers will just throw their hands up in the air and "give up"Even if I NEVER receive my $or the repairs to my appliances, I can only hope that somehow both of these companies are investigatedThey are defrauding consumers, and I am no doubt one of many who has fallen for their devious practices

Hello,
This is in response to the homeowners rebuttal 4/13/16. Our company had to get more information from the homeowners insurance company.
In response to homeowners rebuttal:
1. Our company could not close out the repair ticket due to backordered parts being ordered by the insurance company. The homeowner was made complete aware of this by insurance company and contractor. There is a track record logged in the insurance company's computer record each correspondence to homeowner and contractor Homeowner is lying about not being communicated to
"There was no finger pointing by insurance company and contractor". Parts were being provided by the homeowners insurance company which homeowner knew about and was frustrated by this. They knew there were delays by this as well
3. "There was no difficulties calling us". We have a live person answering system if all lines are being used at once. Again, the insurance company were ordering the parts that were difficult to obtain and homeowner was in perfect contact with them
4. "There was a no "no show" on 2/5/16". On 2/4/the homeowner had been in contact with their insurance company on obtaining a cash out for new equipment (regarding a dishwasher and oven range). The appointment was cancelled until further notice. Homeowner never called us to cancel that appointment time. On 2/6/the homeowner had accepted a full cash out for new equipment. On 2/8/their insurance company had issued and sent a check to the homeowner for new equipment and the insurance company had reimbursed the homeowner for her initial $copay deductibles. This homeowner has been fabricating a story and lying about this whole situation to obtain more monies from our company knowing she has been paid already. This is fraud and has been reported to their insurance company as well. With this manipulated plan, this homeowner is defrauding her insurance company and contractors. Contractors beware

Complaint #***I had spoken to your customer service rep yesterday and advised emailing you directly for this matter I had asked for an extension of time due to obtaining documents from the home owners home warranty insurance carrier The dispute that the home owner is requesting in
refund of $were out of pocket expenses their insurance carrier did not cover on their outside air conditioner replacement This charge was for copper pipe, copper fittings, and labor for that The indoor evaporator coil that the home owner is stating that wasn't replaced, by a 3rd party, was replaced by our installer The coil was a perfect match to his refrigerant R-system, for the outside unit, by our vendor The home owner was completely aware of those charges explained by First American Home Buyers Protection and agreed as well. Thank you,Alex B.General ManagerNW Valley Mechanical LLCph: 503.810.2132http://www.nwvalleymechanical.com

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: In January the evaporation coil on our AC unit was replaced by *** *** and *** *** ** *** Avenue, Portland, Oregon ***-***-***
The evaporation coil was model CAPF3642Cand bore the serial# The same evap coil is still part of the unit and was not replaced as NWVM assertsWe have asked for compensation for additional costs to us because they did not replace all parts as they were contracted for.Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
I am more than happy to provide documentation supporting my statements regarding Northwest Valley MechanicalWhat I will not do is allow the business owner to continue to bully me by making statements/accusations in an attempt to get me to just "go away"There business practices are unethical, again I am more than happy to provide proof of my statements to Revdex.com, First American Home Warranty and to whomever else Northwest Valley Mechanical purports to have reported my "fraudulant activity to"
1- First American has documentation of all phone communication and email communication with meIncluding, notification that my claim was being escalated to "contractor relations" due to the lack of response from Northwest Valley Mechanical to my phone calls and emails, and phone calls from First American
2- Really? First American sent a message to me stating the Northwest Valley Mechanical stated the parts were being made from "scratch" at the factory, which would take 4-weeksMade from scratch? Really!!! Pathetic claim
3-Recorded phone conversations with Claudia at First American will clearly show that she was having the same difficulties making contact with Northwest Valley Mechanical that I was havingSubpoena the recordsI have nothing to hide
4- Funny how you have changed the dates to suit your needsI did not contact First American until after Northwest Valley Mechanical NO SHOWED the appointment that they scheduled with meI wrote Claudia an email on Saturday February 6th, the day after the no showClaudia called me no more than minutes after I sent the email, on a SATURDAYShe gave me options- continue with Northwest Valley Mechanical and hope for the best; start from the beginning with a new contractor, take a cash out and replace the appliance myselfI chose the latter, for reasons that would be obvious to any rational personAnd yes, on Monday Feb 8th, I cancelled my policy with First American, because I believe that they were equally responsibleThey should have remedied the situation long beforeSo, your accusations are a bit far fetchedI had my home warranty for years, since the day I bought my home, I had NEVER made a claim until the one for my appliancesAnd you have the gall to suggest that I made a claim to collect money from my warranty, and then after receiving that money, I reported the contractor to the Revdex.com? Ridiculous
I would be more than happy to further this discussion with you, with all documentation in hand, with my attorneyI will not respond to any further attempts at slanderShould you wish to communicate further with me, please do so via your attorney
Thank you Revdex.com for allowing me to bring the practices of this company to your attention, hopefully, it will be helpful to other consumers in the future

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because it is not factually correct The vendor, NW Valley, is misrepresenting or fabricating Choice Home Warranty's position and statements about this claim Choice Home Warranty rejected the claim because this vendor reported to them that there was nothing wrong with the water heater
Because of NW Valley Mechanical's report to Choice, we had to bring another plumber in to repair the hot water heater It took that competent and licensed plumber minutes to determine that the top thermostat was sticking and another minutes to replace and test it NW Valley did not diagnose or repair the hot water heater All they did was spend minutes taking our $check and then reported that the unit was working fine to the warranty company They did not perform any diagnostic work at all, and should not have taken the $payment for diagnostic work that they did not perform.
Sincerely,*** ***

Sorry for the delay I finally received correspondence infofrom the home owners home warranty insurance company named Choice Home Warranty This home owner called his warranty insurance company about a complaint that he could not take longer than a minute shower on a gal electric
water heater According to Choice Home Warranty, they stated that this water heater is under the manufacturer year warranty and that this water heater is doing its job under this circumstance of a very long shower They had stated that the home owner would have to contact the brand name of manufacturer to seek warranty on any failed parts, such as elements and t'stats Our company does not service that water heater brand for any warranties His water heater is located in a very muddy crawlspace, at that time, with access issues at the tank due to HVAC ducts Home owner is furious about the denial of coverage of his water heater and was very belligerent to our office manager and to myself I tried to calm his angry temper down on phone but chose to retaliate with demeaning/defaming languages I tried to explain the operations of his water heater and recommendations to resolve that issue but refused to listen His $insurance deductible was for the service call and he would have to talk to his insurance company for any refunds Thank you,Alex C.Service/General ManagerNW Valley Mechanical LLC.Office: 503.810.2132 Fax: 503.954.2669http://www.nwvalleymechanical.com

This home owner had a partially covered repair claim on their refrigerator.  Choice Home Warranty company made the home owner aware of her out of pocket costs as well as our company.  The home owner took several weeks to sort out the matter with Choice Home Warranty before giving us the go...

ahead on repairs.  The home owner also agreed to the out of pocket expenses. After repairs on the refrigerator were made, the home owner decided not pay the service tech at time of completion and gave the technician a hard time about the bill.  Our company has mailed several statements and no response from the home owner.  After 4 months of neglect, we forwarded the outstanding invoice to collections.  Now the home owner is responding to her outstanding invoice.  The home owner has an outstanding invoice of parts and labors.  Conversations were documented with Choice Home Warranty with company and home owner of her costs.  Home owner also has email correspondence with our company agreeing with all repairs and costs.  Denial by home owner will only embarrass the situation even greater.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The insurance contract was not cancelled until after NW Valley Mechanical "no showed" the scheduled repair visit on 2/5/2016. At this point I emailed the insurance company, First American Home Warranty, who assured me that all parts and work had been authorized, more than once. After more than 3 months of trying to get the appliances repaired, and repeatedly getting no response from NW Valley Mechanical to phone calls and/or emails, I called my insurance company again. At that time they stated that they were having difficulties getting anyone from NW Valley to respond to their phone calls or emails. At that time they suggested that we could try again with NW Valley, start from the beginning with another repair service, or I could cash out. Please keep in mind that I had been getting the run around for months from NW Valley Mechanical, and excuses from First American. I chose to cancel my home owners insurance policy. At that time I was assured that they would refund the $120 that I had paid to NW Valley at the time of the first visit on 10/29/2015, as soon as NW Valley closed out the ticket. I have recently spoken with First American, they have stated that NW Valley has not closed out the ticket and they can not refund my $120 until the ticket has been closed. It is very difficult, after reading numerous other complaints, that both First American and NW Valley Mechanical are intentionally pointing the finger at one another, hoping that the involved consumers will just throw their hands up in the air and "give up". Even if I NEVER receive my $120 or the repairs to my appliances, I can only hope that somehow both of these companies are investigated. They are defrauding consumers, and I am no doubt one of many who has fallen for their devious practices.

Hello [redacted],I never received the rebuttal response until now.  The original response to this complaint is factual and the home owners home warranty company, Choice Insurance Company, stands by the statement as well.  The home owner ruined his chances on any help from Choice Insurance company by his belligerent statements and actions to them and our company.  And again, we advised Choice Insurance Company to send out a contractor that repairs this specific water heater brand under its manufacturer warranty and for them to discuss the $45.00 deductible charge.  Currently, with the home owner complaining of a hot shower not exceeding past 16 minutes every usage did not constitute a problem on this 50 gallon tank to the insurance company.  But, if the hot water were to run out in a few minutes, then there would be an issue to its operations.  Again, this home owner will need to make amends with his insurance company if he is seeking his $45.00 deductible to be refunded.  He is under contractual obligation with them and he will need to read his policy in full. Alex C.NW Valley Mechanical LLC.Office: 503.810.2132 Fax: 503.954.2669http://www.nwvalleymechanical.com

This home owner had an insurance repair claim that was put on hold by their carrier. Their insurance company was supplying all factory backorder parts.  Our company was on standby.  This home owner later had taken a cash out of repairs and we had closed our service end with their...

insurance company.  This home owner has gotten a refund from their carrier already of $120.00.  This claim was taken care of by their insurance company and this complaint is not valid.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because the statements made by the business are constricted by the attached documentation and by the truth about what occurred.  Sincerely,[redacted]
