Review: I purchased a necklace for my girlfriend on 6/**/13 at around 6 P.M at this location. The person who helped me rushed me to choose something, took my debit card out of my hand, swiped it himself and had me enter my pin. After the payment was processed he gave me a receipt to sign that stated that the item was final sale and I would have to pay a 25percent restocking fee if it was exchanged. If I knew the item was going to be final sale I would have never entered my pin to process my payment. Due to religious purposes my girlfriend couldn't have the gift so I tried to return the product to the person that sold it to me. I went back around noon on 6/**/2013 and he refused to give me a refund as stated on their website privacy and return policy section. He cursed at me, my girlfriend and my mother and gave us store credit. Due to religious beliefs my girlfriend couldn't have the necklace and so we came back to the store for a second time to try to get a refund and he said no again. He made us get a necklace and heart pendant which was scratched and overpriced and said we were no longer allowed in his store after today. The owner of the store was right next to the person selling the jewelry. We asked to speak to the owner and he refused and lied saying he was not the owner.Desired Settlement: As customers our desired outcome for this issue would be to get back a full refund due to religious beliefs and for the store to stick to their policy stated online. Not only was this a bad experience but the product sold were damaged, overpriced and scratched. Restocking fees should not be applied to customers that come into the actual store and only to those shipping it back to the business from online purchases.

Response:
*Customer first asked to see pendant necklaces. Then asked and decided to purchase a
religious cross and chain.
* We regret the complainant did not know the gift he chose for his girlfriend
was religious
* We asked the complainant how he wanted to pay and he gave us his debit card
to swipe.
* While processing the payment complainant was asked to fill out the store
receipt book which clearly states a return policy indicating no cash refunds.
* After complainant entered his pin number he was given a debit receipt also
indicating no cash refunds a second time.
* During the purchase process the complainant asked about our return policy and
we stated “If she doesn’t like it she could exchange it for anything else she
preferred.”
* The Customer then left with a hand shake and no further questions
* The following day complainant returned, DEMANDING a refund and was told he
could exchange the item at full value with the restocking fee waived. We
pointed out the store policy of no cash refunds on his receipt the debit card
transaction receipt and the posted store policy sign.
*He returned again the same day with his girlfriend (later referring to her as
his wife) and her mother. He was not cursed as stated. For well over one hour
they were shown various exchange options throughout the store by our entire
staff.
* Eventually a heart pendant was chosen after their careful inspection. The
chain that came with the pendant they chose was upgraded to a higher value
chain in an effort to make the complainant happy.
*After the selection/exchange was made complainants seemed satisfied we shook
hands and felt we had done everything possible in their behalf.
* We are therefore surprised and disappointed at the complainants response to
our continued efforts toward their satisfaction.
*We have done everything possible and more to satisfy these complainants on
many levels and can no longer provide any further action in this matter. Our
return policy was clearly stated throughout the transaction and we have
provided a full and acceptable item exchange and upgrade. We consider this
matter closed as we did all we could for a positive outcome.
